  1. I would have sworn that was photoshopped but after watching the newscast. I stand corrected. I would never have thought a full frame vehicle would rolled up like that. Prayers to the family of those involved. I would have sworn that was photoshopped but after watching the newscast. I stand corrected. 2. This was today and at that point I had put those 15k miles on it since I got it.
  3. I found the same thing with my 14. I bought it used and blamed it on the previous owner dorking around in there. I found small black wires spliced in to the headlight switch also. Must have had LEDs or mounted somewhere. The one rattle I cannot kill is the door panels. The trim on both doors buzzes on just about any rough surface.
  4. Wix filters for all of my vehicles.
  5. No tune. Just stock 5.3 2wd extended cab. I just passed 10000 miles and I am still at 24.1 MPG.
  6. Interesting stuff. So how is the app reading the truck?
  7. Nice looking truck Pirate!!
  8. Another picture of the MPG with 6000 miles on it. I think maybe the drop in MPG is probably winter gas. Still happy with the results here!!
  9. It's still stock. 14 Double Cab with 5.3 2wd. No lift.
  10. This was taken last week when I filled up. So far I have put this many miles on the truck. Hopefully it stays like this. We will see.
  11. Since I bought the truck used, it has plenty of scratches and nicks so, I got the Porter Cable XP out this afternoon and spent a few hours on the passengers side of the truck. So far it is much better. Some of the scratches are not going to come out. Every little bit is helping though. Tomorrow I will finish the truck and take a few pics. Also, since it is a used truck you never know what the previous owner did to the truck. I have been trying to quite some rattles. So far I have found loose screws on the knee bolster under the steering wheel. Missing trim screws on the passengers side door and a missing screw on the plastic pan under the passengers side dash. TIghten a few screws and add new screws and a little foam tape and it is getting very quite in the truck.
  12. They are tinted lights. They were on the truck when I got it. Whoever did the painting did a great job on them, they are very slick. The biggest drawback as far as I am concerned is, not enough light to backup my driveway.
  13. Much better! Did you just paint the honeycomb or did you find black somewhere? Mine really NEEDS this done to it.
  14. So far this is the highest reported on here. Any issues with it so far?
  15. You are the highest with a posted picture of mileage so far. You are the only one with a picture so far too!!!
  16. I am sure you will post up here if there is an update!! Good thing I have an ipod with 8500 songs on it. That is one good thing about this radio. The ipod works nicely with it.
  17. So far it looks like the high mile award goes to the 96k mile contractor truck. Shouldn't be long before he hits 100k. That's a lot of driving in 3 years. Thanks for the replies guys. The first week I added about 1k miles. It has slowed down but not much. I have had mine about 1 month now and have added about 2500 miles.
  18. How many do you have on your 2014 Silverado or Sierra? I know I will be piling the miles up on mine at about 15-20K miles a year. Currently, mine is a 14 with the 5.3 and at last fill up I had 44,670 miles.
  19. Nice looking truck. I like the short box on a regular cab.
  20. Those are great numbers. I would be curious as to whether you gas mileage changes with your new tune. I am sure since you are using E85 there will be no way to compare. I have HP Tuners but I am not nearly good enough with it to attempt to screw around with it on this truck. I used it on my 70 vette to get it in "The ballpark". There is still work to do on the 70 but it runs and will burn the tires off of it. It could be better at cold engine temps. Its awful in those areas till it warms up.
  21. Got any more information you can share about this? I like the look and would bet this is better than the stock lights.
  22. Just found a couple of 4003 diodes in the box with my Fluke left over from some other projects. I know where to put these to good use. Looks like I will have fogs on with high beams and cargo on with backup.
  23. I really like that Leer cover MiltonKid! Very nice. Maybe when my newly installed Access Vanish wears out a Lear like that may be on mine too.
  24. Installed WeatherTech No-Drill splash guards and an Access Vanish Tonneau today. Also included a few pics of the Bullet Liner I had installed a few weeks ago.
  25. No sir! I live just about 5 minutes south of the I40-I75 split.
