  1. So, does putting the truck in service mode before attempting to work on it keep these codes from tripping? Or not.
  2. I bet they asked for a 409 in a C10 back in the 60's though.
  3. 6.7 equals roughly 409 cubic inches. A strong motor from the sixties. I hope the new one will be as reliable.
  4. If the 5.7 has increased HP and torque over the 5.3, I would go with it. Especially if it still runs on regular gas.
  5. They stopped putting them in with the 22 refreshed model. I connect my air compressor directly to the battery. A little bit of a pain.
  6. That should work, but I wouldn't worry about the truck not starting after only a week. I have a Corvette and a CT5 that sit for a month without a charge and fire right up. I do put a trickle charger on the Corvette on occasion.
  7. Let us know how you make out. Some owners have had grounding strap corrosion issues that cause multiple alarms and errors.
  8. Nothing too exciting there. I prefer the current model. I hope the Sierra looks better.
  9. I kind of like the raised panel on the tailgate.
  10. Where's the trailer hitch going?
  11. Thanks. I will give search another try. I went in quite a few pages and didn’t see anything. Must have missed it.
  12. Refreshed 2022 Sierra Denali, 6.2. 30000 miles. Service Steering Wheel Lock message this morning. Truck would not crank. It would start up using the remote, but would shut down soon after hitting the start button. I disconnected the negative terminal and reconnected. The message cleared and it seems normal again. Is this a known problem? Thanks for any insight.
  13. When I brought my 22 refreshed Denali in for the L87 recall, they did the ECM software update. #N252510321.
  14. I had the pico test done yesterday on my 22 refreshed 6.2 Denali. it passed and it got the oil change and cap. 30000 miles on truck. I've had no problems with the truck to date.
  15. Check out venomtrucks.com. They are selling a harness for about $120 that will do the amber DRLs. Who's going to be the guinee pig? They are on facebook also.
  16. I'd like to see an installation video on this before ordering.
  17. I would go with the Defenders or the Continental TerrainContact H/T. The Continentals are highly regarded by Tire Rack. Better in the wet according to their road tests. You can't go wrong with either.
  18. I had a dead mouse in my cabin air filter. You might want to check it out.
  19. It must be disheartening to have the performance brakes fail probably earlier than the stock brakes would.
  20. I'd like a set too. I sent you a message. thanks
  21. My refreshed 22 Denali is very accurate. Obviously reads high for a few miles if parked in blazing sun, but it comes down to normal temps quickly.
