  1. Installed a blackbear tune on my 17 6.2. Totally different truck. I didnt expect it to roast 35s from a stop like it did. Truck drives like it should have from the factory. I will add that my truck is also successfully running a 2016 tcm which allowed blackbear to tune my trans as well. Didnt have to pay to have my tcm unlocked from HP tuners. 2. A 5" block will probably work for you. My new setup is also 1" lower in the rear. I already have 6" blocks so I'm going with an add a leaf. Every review I've read and talked to a couple shops says the add a leaf will settle at 1.5" of lift. I'm good with 1/2" of rake. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  3. Here's my post and review of the lift. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/221733-review-of-readylift-7-lift-on-my-2017-silverado/&share_tid=221733&share_fid=33003&share_type=t Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  4. Its actually just the charger that came with the light. 2 screws old it in place. I think it fits that cubby perfectly. The light is a Streamlight Strion LED HP. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  5. Added a Lock'er Down console safe. Had to relocate my streamlight that was in the console. I think it turned out pretty good. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  6. Here's my 17 Z71 6.2 with a 7" Readylift, 20×10 -19 Hostile Rage H113 and 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge grapplers. I'm going to make a separate post that gives more detail on the lift install. I'll add a link after I make the post.
  7. Thanks. Readylift 7 inch. Just finished the install a couple of days ago. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  8. Friend of mine powder coated my tow hooks red. I think it turned out nice. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks! It's got Amp Steps. The main reason I got them was because they dont show. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  10. Finally got some free time to install my 7" lift. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  11. Got my 2017 6.2 back 2 days ago after getting the dealer to flush with the new fluid. I've only put about 100 miles on it but so far no shudder. The truck has 34k miles now and the trans has never felt this good. The truck has been to the dealer about 5 times for the trans acting up. They usually just update and perform a trans relearn which didn't ever help. This is the 2nd time they've flushed the trans. The 1st time they flushed it helped but still had the occasional shudder. Now it feels like they finally fixed it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. My new wheels just came in. Hostile H113 Rage. 20x10 -19. Now just need to order the lift. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Mine was covered in chips within the 1st 6 months. Dealer repainted it under warranty. They literally just sprayed the bumper. Didnt smooth out the chips or anything. Still looked better than it did before the chips. Immediately after that I had the xpel film installed and haven't had any issues since. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  15. Looks really good. I here ya on the shitty roads in Houston. I stay away as much as possible. I'm in the SW side of town in the burbs of Richmond. I'm either going with the same lift as you or Readylifts new 7 inch. Readylift says the track width moves less than a half an inch and minimal cutting for the install just like the cst lift. 16. I like how he zip tied the driveshaft for the transfer case out of the way. I'll have to use that trick on the next lift I install. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. There's 2 reasons why I can't wait for you to get this lift installed. 1. I want to see the pics. I've been considering this lift for awhile because I don't want my track width pushed out. Please post some pics from the side so we can see how it actually sits. Not the angle laying on the ground with the wheels flexed trying to make the lift look huge. 2. I'm wondering if CST is going to pay you for advertising with how much you've been posting about their lift lol. Are you going with the spacers or CSTs coil overs? 18. I have a 2017 and have the ProComp 2.25" level. I ran it with the stock UCAs for about 20k miles without any issues. I got my 2017 in August of 2016 and none of the levels were offering replacement UCAs. I added cognito UCAs because I got them used for a good price. I'm not saying you wont have any issues but I'm not easy on my truck and the ball joints were fine when I took the stock UCAs out. The ProComp kit is just a level and doesn't include a diff drop. It is the exact same kit as the Readylift 2.25" level just in a different box and costs less. Now Readylift is offering replacement UCAs with the kit. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. Looks good. Do you have any pics looking directly from the front of the truck so I can see the change in track width? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Went to the deer lease and it was pretty muddy so the 4wd got in a good workout. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Looks good. How did you end up mounting the license plate? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. I installed the switch and harness from pgamboa in my 17 1500. At 1st the switch's amber light wouldn't light up and the dash light wouldn't illuminate either. Double checked all my wiring and the grey wire that connects to the white bcm plug wasn't fully seated. Heard the "click" when I reinstalled the wire. Now everything works as it should. Haven't wired up a light bar yet, but the switch and the light on the dash both light up. So guys that are having intermittent issues with your switch double check your wiring. Just a heads up. 23. Probably cause it's a ford lol Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. Little brother bought a L86/10 speed out of a wrecked Escalade to put in his 68 Camaro so he gave me the engine cover. Dont worry, I already ordered a Chevy badge to replace the Cadillac one. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. I have no idea why I wrote PM lol. I wrote that reply between calls. I wasn't paying attention to what I was writing. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
