  1. PM me details on this. What parts do I need? I know the switch and the harness are needed, but does Phil make a custom harness instead of the stock one? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. Lol nope. Just think it's funny that I talked to 2 different employees there and 1 says they're not making it and the other says they are. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I just spoke with someone at RC. Didn't catch her name, but she did confirm that they ARE making a kit for trucks with active shutters. Like said before, there is no ETA. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. I just scrolled up after I posted that and saw his name. I'll call tomorrow and ask for him. Maybe I'll get a different answer. I'm trying to avoid the dremel lol. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. Who did you talk to? I called today and they said there are no plans to make a kit for trucks with the active shutters. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. Let me know what parts I need to make this work. Assuming it will work with a 17. Hoping to use this on a lightbar install. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. So have you figured out or built a harness to allow the switch to control a 2 wire light? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. I mounted my bass knob under the dash to the ac vent directly above the gas pedal. I have to lean forward to make adjustments while driving, but it's hidden and I didn't want to drill holes in my dash. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  10. I didn't install it all today but it's pretty recent... 5100s at stock height with my 2.25" readylift level. New Kryptonite ball joints for my cognito UCAs. (I bought the UCAs used so I'm not sure how much abuse the cognito ball joints took but the drivers side was popping and had a lot of play) Removed my factory Bose center console sub and replaced it with ebay 8" kicker comp R sub/box combo. Removed my 10" passenger side sub/box and reinstalled my under seat storage. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. I'm pretty happy with the sub output for now and if I need to make any adjustments I'll just do it at the head unit. I know it's not ideal but I'm just lazy. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. Wish I would have done the rear seat fold down mod too but for some reason I dont trust it with my kids car seat back there. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Here's how my amp is mounted to the back wall. I cut out the back wall insulation a little bigger than my amp. Then I cut a piece of plywood the same size as the amp and mounted that to the back wall. Then the amp to the wood. I originally used liquid nails to mount the wood to the back wall so I didn't have to drill into the back wall. That only held for about a week. So I remounted it using industrial strength velcro. That lasted about 2 weeks. I couldn't get anything to stick with how hot it gets during the summer. So today I finally just said screw it and used sheet metal screws and drilled into the back wall. I used rubber washers and silicone to make sure water wouldn't get in. I'm really impressed on how hard this little sub hits and it sounds great. I was on the fence about ordering the Comp R or the L7 and I decided to just go with the Comp R after hearing my neighbors tahoe with the same setup. I also didn't think there would be that big of a difference. I have my amp setup so that when the bass knob is all the way down you can barely hear the sub, almost like its stock. Turn up the knob and it hits. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. I'm just reusing my existing amp. I'm removing my 10" under the rear seat so I can put my rear storage back in. All I have to do is connect the speaker wire from the sub to the amp, but I have to remove the rear seats to get to it. While they're out I'll also be able to adjust the amp for the new sub. 15. Ended up buying the center console box off ebay with the kicker comp 8". I haven't sold my 10" single box that goes under the rear seat yet, but ebay had a 15% off coupon so I decided to buy it. Here's a few pics of the install. I haven't wired it to my amp yet cause I have to remove my backseat to get to it. It was a little hot outside today with a heat index of 108 so I'll finish tomorrow. It took me about an hour and a half to install cause I was taking a few water breaks. Here's a few pics of the console removed, the stock Bose sub, the new box with 8" sub next to the stock Bose, the 10" sub I removed compared to the others, and the new 8" installed before I put the console back in. 16. Just cut this one wire in this link to disable it. That's what I did when I added an aftermarket sub. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/199343-2016-chevy-silverado-how-to-disable-active-noise-cancellation/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. I just recently replaced my stock Ranchos with a set of 5100s. I have a couple thousand miles on them now between highway driving and the deer lease that has some pretty rough rocky roads/trails. Honestly, I couldn't believe how much of an improvement the ride is over stock. I know they are not top of the line, but they are all I need. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. How hard is the illuminated door handle install? Specifically the wiring? Do you have a write-up? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. I'll post some pics when I do it. Might be a awhile till someone buys my box though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. My neighbor just bought one of these setups from the guy on ebay. He installed it in his wife's tahoe. It sounds amazing and doesn't rattle. As soon as I find someone to buy my single 10" box under the rear seat I'm going to buy this setup. It sounds better than my 10 and I'll get my rear storage back. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Looks good. What's your setup? Level size? Tire size? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. Nice! Is that a mighty mouse catch can? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. I currently have the same 2.25" level and just picked up a set of 5100s. I dont want to loose any height so the 5100s at max aren't going to work. It would be nice to gain a little. Should I leave the 5100s set to stock height with the 2.25" level or use just the bottom .5" spacer and adjust the height on the bilsteins? If I use the bottom spacer with the bilsteins what setting would you recommend? I also already have cognito UCAs. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. Did you actually drain any fluid or did you just add it to your existing fluid? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. That's pretty damn funny. Well done. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
