  1. We had a Dodge Charger police car that did not have one either, it was about a 2005 model year. I went and talked to the service manager and he ordered us one, free of charge. Didn't seem very logical to place a needed police unit out of service for a weekend if it showed low fluid at the start of a shift on a Friday night.
  2. I don't know what all sizes come on them, but the manual says not to use chains on these: LT265/70R17, LT275/65R18, 275/60R20, 275/50R22 Looks like the WT truck you can get a 255/70R17 so it might have enough clearance to take chains. I'll stop by my local tire store and test fit a set for the back tires, that will satisfy my state's carry chains requirement. Thanks!
  3. How was the clearance on the back tires? Looking in the Owner's Manual to see what they require/recommend I discovered I can't run chains with my 275/60R20 tires, so I've been researching "Alternative Traction Devices" such as the "AutoSock" that my state approves. My state (WA) requires drivers to carry chains or an "Alternative Traction Device" when going over mountain passes in the winter, even if your vehicle is 4x4/AWD. I don't go over the passes very often, and hardly ever during winter, but since I plan on keeping my 19 HC for a long time I thought I'd pick up a set of chains for it, just in case. But if the chains have enough clearance on the back tires then installing them there will satisfy our state's carry chains requirement.
  4. Mine leaked on the passenger side, they resealed the spoiler and and all was good for a little over a year. This summer it started leaking on the drivers side, they replaced the window this time. Time will tell if it is the final fix.
  5. I'm just going by what he said in his post, "I have the SU5 on my 2020 and it’s making the same sound.
  6. Looks like the SU5 has the same noise.
  7. haha, a friend of mine has a Toyota Tundra and I was riding in the back drivers side seat and got soaked by a leak in the roof! All makes and models have issues.
  8. Did you have any other issues besides the Front Diff jingle?
  9. Do you have the part number for this stub shaft?
  10. Do you have anymore info on this fix such as a TSB or PIP number, I'd like to pass it on to my Service Advisor?
  11. Wow, I think you are the first with an SU5 front diff that I have read of having the JingleJingle noise!
  12. I never had an issue, but some have had a cel come on when using the remote start function, a recall was issued on it. I can't help you with the codes you received.
  13. I just watched your video, it is the exact same noise that my 2019 High Country has. They have replaced my axle shaft too at about 5k miles...still made the noise for awhile. In the past few weeks I have made a couple of 2 hr long trips with temps in the low 70° range, and yesterday I went out for about a 45 min drive when the temp was about 85°, now I can't hear the noise!!?? I even wore my electronic hearing protection I use for shooting which also amplifies normal sounds, still couldn't hear it! I don't know what's going on, but wonder if whatever is causing it has "wore in"? Thanks for the outstanding video!! I am going to send a link to it to my Service Adviser.
  14. Look right above the exhaust pipe or muffler, I read where they have it drain on it to stop from leaving puddles of water on peoples garage floors. People said they can hear it hissing when they first shut off the pickup.
  15. Jingle Jingle gone??!! Last fall I had PIP5653B done on my HC and right after it was done I still could hear the jinglejingle. But now at 10k miles it seems to be gone, I've made two 2 hr trips and I can't hear it anymore. Temp has been around 80°, I tried varying my speed, put it in AUTO and back into 2hi, I can't hear it. Not ready to start jumping for joy...I'll keep listening!
  16. I completely agree, unfortunately not all people are as responsible as they should be, and every summer we see news reports of kids and pets dying because of it.
  17. Do a google search for "baby dies in hot car" I bet these people wished they would have had a simple reminder.
  18. Otherguy, the way I am understanding it is, the stub shaft has left and right free play and it hits the center pin, is that correct? If that is the case, do you know how much free play there is, and would it be possible to shorten the stub shaft to prevent it from hitting the pin?
  19. You may not have enough miles on yours yet. I first noticed, or I should say, my son noticed it when I had a little over 5000 miles on it, it may have been there before that and I just didn't hear it. It is a real faint jingling sound and we only heard it when the stereo/radio wasn't playing. Funny thing too, is my last trip was about 2 hrs long, and the outside temp was about 80°F same conditions as when I have heard it before, only this time I could not hear it, I now have 9800 miles on it. I will listen for it again before I take it back into the service department. Hopefully they've corrected the problem and yours is good.
  20. Yes, it did that right after I bought the pickup Sept of 2018. UPDATE...I just went out, started the truck and immediately put it into reverse....NO FISH EYE. So, I'm think mine has had a software update on one of my visits to the dealer. But with yours being a 20 I would think it should have all the updates, but it wouldn't hurt to ask your service advisor to look into it. And good luck with getting this resolved.
  21. Back when I first got my 2019 High Country, if I quickly threw it into reverse right after starting the pickup, I'd get a rounded (fish eye) display, if I waited a few seconds before putting it into reverse it would not fish eye. I don't know if there has been a software fix for it, or do I not put it into reverse so quickly now, but I have not had it happen for a long time.
  22. Ok, I see how you might interpret this, thanks for your comments.
  23. I guess I'm not seeing where they say it is not recommended, but then again, I don't have the best reading comprehension. lol
