    I figured this would happen, just finished my first road trip to see grandkids for Xmas in my buyback Sierra. Yep, vibrations. How are we supposed to trade these lemons? Won't be long before every car company will know about them. We will have no trade in value, even if you lucked out and have a good one. We also don't know the long term affect on other parts of the truck, how many bolts will be loosened? How many snap fit plastic pieces will start loosening up? If I ever get out of this mess I will never touch another GM vehicle again.

    Completed my buy back, paid difference in sticker only. Now have a Sierra, wish I had noticed the headlight thread, lights on this thing are like 2 candles, unbelievable. Have 400 miles and don't know if it is me being paranoid but I think it is developing the vib. What really sucks is my local dealer really went to bat for me and I absolutley love the trucks except for the vib. GM, LISTEN, we will buy your trucks and pay more for them to have them RIGHT. A grand or two on $55K trucks is not going to be a deal breaker to me if the truck is RIGHT. These trucks AREN'T. Ford and Ram can't touch the 6.2 engine, the engine I flat out love! JUST BUILD THEM RIGHT PLEASE!

    It's all about the dollars, and nothing is going to happen until the dealers are PO'ed from losing sales. It has to be dealers and consumers together, now it is dealers and GM together. We need a profesionally made sticker / magnet / wrap that covers the entire tailgate, it should look like this. Everybody with the same sign. BUYER BEWARE GOOGLE SILVERADO - SIERRA VIBRATION PROBLEM BEFORE BUYING As soon as dealers start seeing hundreds or thousands of these,start getting asked about it, and media starts asking about it, things will change. Until then we are all on our own. I pick up my new truck after a buy back next week. I got lucky and had a great dealer, some buyers don't.

    I think it all comes down to your dealer, I've seen both sides of it and I think it comes down to how hard you dealer tries for you

    I'm impressed with my local dealer, who I didn't buy it from, he went to bat for me, and will be my dealer from now on. You often hear service after the sale or phrases similar to it. This whole experience has shown me both sides to it. My purchase dealer was a total POS to deal with once I told them I had a problem and flat out lied about it from day one. Telling me it never had a vibration.

    I would go for a 15 again, not loving the new front of the 16's, but haven't got haven't got a figure yet. My parking lot at work has a lime pile to the west and our truck lot is crushed limestone to the east. My thing is a silver or diamond white truck to hide the dust and the options I had on this one.

    Got my vibrator back from the purchasing dealer thurs., they again claim it has no vibration, this dealer is 120 miles from me and GM forces me to take to them instead of my hometown dealer. Still has a vibration, they have now had it 3 times and I also took it to my local to put new tires on, which I paid for. Had the owner of my local dealer drive it today, he agrees there is something wrong with it. I will start the lemon law proceedings next week.

    I'm sorry but I find this extremely hard to believe, a dealer hasn't heard of the issue, these trucks have these issues reported for 2 years now. I hope it works out for you. ​

    As this gets more well known it will affect the value of all GM trucks, not just those of us with the vibrators.

    the above was what I'm referring to, but since it's just a cosmetic upgrade I would bet the 16's will also have it.

    Now that people with 16's are reporting the same issue, I doubt the thread is going to dry up. My truck was $54K, another $1K to have it right wouldn't have deterred me from buying it. But after going through this I will never buy another GM product, and I am sure I'm not alone in that sentiment.

    Funny how the GM folks have abandoned this thread, and calling GM customer service is a complete waste of your time.

    GM wouldn't allow me to go to another dealer so I had to do the round trip, 240 miles back to the dealer that claims it has no vibration. They still have it, waiting to hear from GM what they can do, but in the same breath they say it has no vibration. My last GM product.

    No but I had a 429 SCJ, and a 351 Pinto, and a 514 67 Fairlane, now I drive Chevy's all because my local dealer supported a new swimming pool in town and the Ford dealer didn't

    OmahaBen, I'm 2 hours north of you, didn't know I had a vibration until we headed to CA, as soon as I got west of Omaha set cruise at 82 and WTF! Sid D, balanced the tires when I got back, sent it back with a vib at 62! next trip they put a new right rear on, sent it back again telling me no vib. I took it to my local dealer paid for new tires, and still the vib. Tomorrow back to Sid D. Thing is I love the truck, don't want anything else, just want it the way it's supposed to be. Love Quarry Oaks, play there every year!

    Bought my vibrater from a dealer 2 hours from me. Took it there twice, still vibrates. Contacted GM, I can't take it to my local dealer, I have to do the 2 hour drive back to the dealer that has already worked on it twice and says there is no vibration??? So I have to spend 4 hours putting useless miles on this thing tomorrow instead of my local dealer, 2 miles from my house. Thanks GM, I can tell you value us.

    Add me to the list of shakers. Live in rural Iowa but just took it to Califonria, as soon as I hit the interstate above 75 the vibration started. I still had 3500 miles to go! The worst was at 82. Took it to the dealer today. They told me they had to wait to hear from GM??
