    I would assume your right. Canada has a mandatory DRL law so I'm assuming they programmed against manually disabling it.

    I would suggest trying a nicer kit. The ones TRS sells seem pretty good. Or try an oem ballast with adapters.

    There are adjustments you can make to the projector to help straighten the cutoff. Moving the bowl up .5 to 1mm from the shield will help that and give you a little more light at the cutoff. I have found with these that since they do curve up a bit on the sides and the fact that they sit so high on the truck, they end up shining into oncoming traffics eyes when hey get to about 20 ft from you. I adjusted mine to slightly curve down on the sides and this helped a lot. Just got to play with all the adjustments till you find one you like. Then try to exactly replicate that on the other ....

    Couldn't be more true. Most people who speak poorly of things on forums go searching for a place to speak that way. It's very rare you find people who are completely satisfied who go looking for a place to tell people how happy they are. Of course this motor is not a V8 and of course it isn't as powerful as one but it is lightyears ahead of what I pictured for a V6 in a half ton and for that it gets my vote.

    Better than my gmt900 5.3 V8. Never been one for the smaller motors in full size trucks but this thing exceeds all my expectations for a V6.

    Yes they are a direct replacement. And no I was able to do it all without opening the housing. I'd love to see pictures of that headlight of yours though

    I didn't think those fit the RX-350. I thought those were for the RX-AFS/RX-330?

    Where did you get the custom shields for the RX350?

    Yeah it all depends what route you go. Mine was this: replica ltz housings ($375), RX-350 BiXenons ($200), Mitsubishi Gen IV Ballasts ($200), and Philips 85122+ D2S bulbs, ($100). That however gave me a fantastic setup and no real need to touch the high beams due to BiXenons nice high beam performance. Wouldn't look back in my case I love it.

    Yes I meant the package deal. Though the projectors aren't bad that come with the replicas, I got a set for 375 off eBay. The rest your going to have to spend to retrofit the ones you have anyway so that's moot.

    Doubt it. Its so cheap to buy the ltz replicas and do it that route that its not really worth the trouble

    Today I installed my Add W1 catch can, I notice some slight collapsing on the hose near the crank case connector so I might upgrade it later. Also I stalled the chrome door moldings (thanks John_chadra1 for the seamless market place transaction) and mirror covers today. (Opposite of what most do with them haha.)

    I want tj say at 25-30ft it should drop 2 inches from the hight of the bulb on the truck.

    As far as alignment they look pretty good as faras that picture goes. If anything the Drivers side may be a tad high.

    Good to hear. Its kinda a pain if they aren't spaced right.

    Been there my friend. Worse is since these housings have no adjustment left or right, you need to use washers to space the mounts so they are aimed atraight
