  1. Lol yeah I've done that to a few silverados but with the fender trim on the sierras I couldn't quite figure out how to trim it and make it look good enough to where I wouldn't hate myself for doing it ?
  2. Looks good! What is the wheel tire specs ? I tried installing some 2" spacers with my 275/65/20s and stock wheels and it just wasn't happening, did some light trimming but to make it clear I would've had to cut way more off than I wanted to
  3. You can get them for around $100. Part #84192871. I assume they are powder coated, not sure. They are gloss tho. Yeah the silverados are easier to do, mine I had to pull the bumper, which once the grill is off is really only 6 bolts.
  4. Bought them. They are the red hooks that come with the chevy red line edition
  5. Put it in the box that the Denali grill came in. Was thinking of keeping it but will prob never switch back.
  6. Thanks! 275/65/20 GY duratracs, 2 inch front rough country level.
  7. Your gonna need a new door lock actuator. I've seen a few starting to go bad.
  8. Installed a painted Denali grill and installed my red tow hooks while I had things apart. And of course only reason I did it was to match my boys power wheels Denali [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I just got rid of the one I had in there it wasn't getting very cold.
  10. LOL I know, but that adapter is another $150 ish? .. so for a little bit of my time it was free.
  11. Truck looks great with the new wheels and level!
  12. Finally broke down and installed some amp power steps. My wife's happy and parents have a much easier time climbing in now . Got them used so I didn't have the dlc plug so had to wire each door, that was a pain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My garage is 28x26 ...I wound up using 2 and a half kits. Put it on pretty thick I guess. And I also purchased extra bags of the paint" flakes " to throw in there. I bought my kits from Home Depot.
  14. I did my garage about two months ago with the rustoleum professional kit.. actually I had to wind up buying 3 kits. So far so good. It has a very nice gloss to it and have had my vehicles in and out and all the paint is sticking down with no issues. Wish I would have done this years ago, this makes cleaning up the floor a breeze when your out there working and now my little guy can be out in the garage with me rolling his toy trucks around without getting dirty and getting me yelled at by the wife lol.And this is how crappy my floor was before... And after
  15. Added a heated steering wheel.. my favorite mod so far lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Same with the truck I worked on, there was no coolant in oil just like yours. It should all be ok.
  17. Does your truck have a oil cooler? I've seen one break inside the radiator and coolant and oil mixed, makes one hell of a mess in the cooling system but it's fixable.
  18. Thanks. No, the truck had the chrome mirrors, handles, door moldings, window moldings etc. And I would really like to get ahold of some 16+ headlights cause my chrome and orange lights stick out like a sore thumb with everything else black. Or if I get the nerve one day to pop my lights open I guess that's an option lol
  19. It's the GM/Borla dual kit, that originally came straight out the back but I had changed to come out behind the tires
  20. Well, usually my parents and wife scream that when trying to get in lol! I told them unless someone is going to buy me amp power steps it's not gonna happen lol
