  1. I suppose the benefit of buying new, if it turns out to have major problems, if they can't fix it they can buy it back..
  2. The sticker on the LTZ is 59095.00, asking price is 47.6k. We don't get much snow here in Fort Wayne. I've used 4wd in my '18 LT probably a dozen times total in 6 years.. I'm old enough that if we do get that rare 8 inches in a day, that I'll stay home. My biggest concern is, will the 14 months of sitting on the lot cause problems from possible rodentia etc... My thought was to take it and have it put on a lift and look it over and under for anything like chewed or repaired harnesses etc. If that passes, I'm thinking offering 42k... The RST doesn't have all the safety options I'm looking for. Thanks for all the input and discussions! Dave
  3. A dealer near me has 6 new 2023's on the lot. 4 RST and 2 LTZ. They are base models with no added options, which an LTZ has all I need. Looks like they were built in June of 2023 and have sit on the lot since. Being 2 wheel drive probably doesn't help them out. Are these a good deal at about 12k under sticker, or are they still sitting because of being potenial lemons? I don't need 4WD, but like the safety features of the LTZ. What say the forum? Thanks, Dave
  4. As far as them going from Roanoke to Fort Wayne, that's about 10 miles. The plant is actually west of Roanoke about 5 miles, and southwest of Fort Wayne a few miles. It's right off Interstate 69. I've seen new trucks sitting in holding areas on the east side of Fort Wayne, the old Harvester plant area is used to stage haulers and trucks for loading once they are built. It's possible for them to take a few days to be moved from the plant, to the holding area, then onto trucks for delivery to the assigned dealership.
