I have never heard of a TPMS sensor with replaceable batteries. They're a sealed unit. The rebuild kits simply change things like the seals and valve stem core.
Not much. Been a great week in Vermont seeing friends I only see once a year and a few I haven't seen in ages. Truck is gassed up for the short hop back to NH tomorrow. Then its office duty most of the week until I head back to Michigan.
And my average driving back to NH was 17.8 MPG. That isn't corrected for the slightly larger 285/65/18 tires though the DIC matches the calculated MPG. Not horrible considering my driving style.
Spent a long time and a lot of quarters giving mine a good wash. Came out nice and then I put the tonneau back on that I took off a few months back and its covered in pollen. Oh well. Most of the truck looks good.
Back to back I had a black Impala then a Charger as rentals for work. I loved it cause people just instinctively move even though both had out of state plates.
It was an ex or crew. One stack and otherwise looked totally normal. Not loud either. I have video but my awful Internet wouldn't upload it the other night. Never use AT&T DSL.
At the dealer for an oil change and rotate. You guys who said sticker price has been jacked up prior to the 2014s are dead on- there is a regular cab 2013 that has a sticker price of $37,000, same as my 2011 ex cab was!
I ran four low in fourth or third and it seemed to work pretty well. Only time I didn't was when racing on the flats then I had it in 5th or 6th. Four low launches like a boss.
Yeah I noticed that last night. MSP was all over I94 and I'm sure they're saturating the other highways too. Whatever, I don't have plans for the weekend so I'll let them bust drunks and idiots foolish enough to be wreckless on a holiday weekend. But that isn't the norm- going up to St. Ignace last Wednesday I saw one police car in 270 miles. And none driving back the following Sunday. In rural areas I think they also provide local police services so they have better things to do than sit on the highway.
You must drive like an old man.
Just discovered the station next to my apartment sells ethanol free gas. It'll be interesting to see if the truck does better on that than E10 premium. My mileage still is less than stellar cause I've become horrible with being a lead foot.
