  1. That's opinion but I'd agree and say the '14-'18 Sierra looks nicer than the '19. I think the '19 Silverado looks better. If not for the grille and the sim card fender wells, the '19 Sierra would be a nice looking truck.
  2. Yea right ? Have you been reading the Sierra issues??? Did you happen to know the Silverados and Sierras are rolling off the same assembly line at the Ft. Wayne plant? Complaint I have with the Sierra is the horrible SIM card looking fender wells and the hideous clown grille ??
  3. Noises and rattles can be deceiving and tricky. Sounds bounce around and it may sound like it's coming from somewhere it's not. The next thing I'd check is the sun visor to be sure it's latched in. If it's not secured, the rod hits the clip and it will have that golf ball type rattle with the visor bouncing around.
  4. Check the seat buckle hitting on the plastic B pillar trim.
  5. There's already a thread on this topic called Regrets. I have a 2019 RST I've had since last March. Love it and no regrets. No issues. Best truck I've owned and I've had many new GM trucks.
  6. I downloaded 807 a few weeks ago. Everything working perfect and as it should. No glitches etc. like some are experencing. Is there an 809 out?
  7. You posted this in the wrong section. This is the '19/'20 1500 section. Try the '14-'19 2500/3500 section or the wanted section.
  8. I can tell where the cut off point on the road should be on dim. I've set many sets and projector lights as well on lowered and leveled trucks. I use a level slab and a brick wall to level the left and right headlights the same using the bricks or mortar joints. Aim is perfect and I never get flashed.
  9. We just purchased a 2020 Silverado SSV for our dept. and it has that smell.
  10. Good deal. What tool did you get? Have a link? Thx
  11. I purchased a set of 4 on ebay new in package for $70 and work perfect. The GM part # is 84413357. Be sure the sensors you get are 433mhz and not 314.9 as the 2018 GM trucks. When I had mine programmed last March, my shop didn't have the 2019 Silverado in the tpms tool. If your tire store doesn't have the 2019 Silverado programmed in their tool (should by now), tell them to use a 2018 Chev Traverse or any other GM vehicle that uses 433mhz.. They use the same frequency. Good luck P.S. be sure the sensors aren't for the trailers. Look the same but won't work. People are selling the included trailer sensors as 2019 truck sensors.
  12. The 4x4 may not have the shim. Seems I may have seen that on a thread. I'll try to find it. Reversing the pinion shim does stops the vibration. They do sell pinion shims.
  13. Ironic how you bring this up. A good friend of mine has a 2019 LT. I went with him get it. Beautiful nice truck. We were at a super bowl party tonight and he told me he was thinking of going trade it in and I asked why? He said it was using a qt. every 2000 miles. Dealer gave him a BS story and showed him a bulletin saying that was acceptable and that's why they're 8 qts. Really??? Naturally GM would say that. It's easier to say that to cover their butts so they don't have to fork out $$$$$$$$ for engines. Funny how things are always "normal".
  14. Agree. People level their trucks and leave the aim as is and don't lower the lights. They're not set anymore. 2" on a leveled truck makes a huge difference in the view plane looking down road. Blinds oncoming drivers and I hate getting blinded by dims. Brights do no good as They're in the sky and not even on the road where they should be.
  15. Very nice congrats. Enjoying the "new smell" lol?
  16. It's a big deal even if it's not loaded if the headlight aim isn't re adjusted.
  17. Nope not right. On vent mode air should be blowing hard. Something's stuck closed or not opening. Did you try using the air settings from the infotainment screen intead of the console? Hope it gets figured out. Try another dealer.
  18. ?Yep. Funny why the Cadillac, Range Rover, Mercedes, Infinity, the $325k Rolls Cullinan SUV and other high end SUV's and cars have large wheels and lower profile tires? I guess they ride like crap too. And small wheels look better??? Please... Imagine how these vehicles would look with smaller wheels and balloon tires...
  19. I've always had Bridgestone Alenza 22's (many sets through the years) and 1 set of Cooper. This is my first set of Michelin 22's and have an exceptional ride. By far the best riding and the best 22 you will find. Wearing beautifully and balanced out perfect requiring little weight. I keep the pressure checked (especially winter months) and keep them rotated (life of the tires). They have great treadwear, traction and temp. Won't go back to Bridgestone. Can't attest to the snow.
  20. You probably had the 45 series 22's. The '19 50 series tire type and brand tells the story. Not just 20" to 22". I've had 20''s that were harsh and rode like crap and had 20's that rode great. I've had 22" 45 series Coopers that were harsh. The 50 series Michelin 22's ride amazing. That's fact.
  21. Looks nice MacLaren. I put F11Top Coat spray on mine and it has a deep wet mirror bright look. Easy to apply, easy off and beads water for months. Very easy to wash. 24 hr. cure time. I hear the aircraft quality Aerolon Tech Shine is awesome as well around $30 a bottle. It's applied to a wet finish and water activated.
  22. Well I hate to disagree with your service advisor or whomever told you this but it's not "normal" and they all don't do it. My '19 RST, our '19 Fire Dept. Custom service truck and a friends LT doesn't do it. If the defrost only is selected air doesn't blow out the vents. When the defrost mode is on and I select the vent mode, you can hear the flap inside the dash open then air starts flowing out the vents. What gets me with these service dept.'s is when people bring a vehicle in for a problem or concern they seem to reply "they all do that" or "it's normal". When they tell you that, tell him/her ok lets go try a handful of trucks on the lot and lets see what they do.
  23. Yes sir. So much better. '18's on my RST. Before and after.
