I’m new to this so be gentle. 2015 Silverado 2500 has the white LED mirror lights that turn on with the cargo switch. How do I get them to come on in reverse? Can the dealer update bcm module and problem solved or am I out of luck? Also wondering about the remote roll down and up of the windows by the key remote

This is my first post so sorry if I’m all over the place. I’ve had my 2014 Sierra slt for about two years now. I got it with 116k miles and I’m at about 174k right now. Since the day I’ve bought the truck it’s been nothing but issues. You name it, it’s happened. Four separate water leaks (sunroof, gps antenna, third brake light, and cab vents), 2 transfer case control modules, problems with the power steering going out, brakes going out at low speeds. A couple of months ago my transmission went out and it also needed various other repairs totaling over $20k. Now my park assist sensors don’t work, my rear doors don’t open from the inside and also don’t lock from the outside, reverse lights and camera don’t work, and it constantly dings at me to service my trailer brake system (seriously, it chimes at me about every two seconds as I’m going down the road, telling me to service the trailer brakes). I’ve gone through and checked every ground I can find and nothing helps. Today I went through every single fuse and relay in the truck. I found a couple of blown fuses and replaced as needed, but still no change. I’m at a loss for what to do at this point as I’m stuck with the truck after all the money I’ve sunk into it. Does anybody maybe have any solutions to any of these problems? I’m desperate for answers, anything helps. -
My reverse lights are staying on: When in park When in drive When the ignition is off I have removed fuse #33 in the engine compartment fuse box which kills power to the revers lights to keep from killing my battery. This also keeps my reverse camera from turning on when in reverse also. I have unplugged the backup camera thinking this was causing a bad ground with no success. I don't see where a relay might be that could be bad/stuck. This is a interment problem which points to ground or relay issue somewhere but I don't know where to look. -
2020 Sierra 1500 SLT After searching and reading through many threads without the specific answers I'm looking for, I'm hoping for some advice and information. I'd like to have 1 )the fog-lights come on with the parking lights, so the fog-lights are on all the time (even staying on with high beams if possible) 2) the Cargo Lamps illuminate when the truck is in Reverse. I'd like to know what plug/pin number to jump with the diode and what size diode/direction the diode goes (which way the stripe faces). Bonus points for photos (see below) I found this photo in a 2014 - 2018 GMC thread. The thread said the brown to pink is the cargo-reverse light mod and the brown to brown was the parking lights-fog lights mod. Are the plugs/wires/diode direction the same for the 2020? Is the 1Amp D1 diode the right one for these mods? I'd appreciate any help that can be provided. Please be sure to dumb it down for me and any other future searchers. I know I need all the help I can get!! Thank you for your time, DC
