  1. In my case as far as the booming goes, it depends how you, or at what point you catch the engine/chasi/wheels I don't know what. At the same exact stop sign, accelerating to get on the freeway every other time or so, it will boom like a mother and nothing will make it stop, slowing down, accelerating more, nothing, it just keeps booming until a complete stop is made. Weird man, weird. Hope they fix it on the 2017s cos I'm gone to start going back in for another buy back.
  2. Both, the 2015 (that got bought back) and the new 2016 both have the 20 and both have the same issues, booming and vibrating. Wheel size doesn't have anything to do with the issues. So what does? GM
  3. Ok here it is; They did the roof thing, twice, they did the 2 tire replacement thing, they did the shock thing they did the rear end thing, they could not figure out the picoscope thing, they washed it with recycled water, they vacuumed with a straw and they replaced it with a 2016. There is no fix for this thing, or at least there is no fix that they are willing to do. Here is my process for getting a buyback http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/175222-2015-gm-suvs-buffeting-ear-pressure-noise-in-cabin/
  4. Vehicle replaced after months of back and forth with dealer and GM Was the issue resolved on the 2016 model? Don't know yet I just drove it about 5 miles, will update later. I'm really hoping this time I got an apple.
  5. Not sure why this issue is not listed on this section. Here we go: The issue is the buffeting or ear pressure felt with all the windows closed. Some people have lost their mind as you can tell by some of the posts listed here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/162779-2015-yukon-noise-in-cabin/ Others are about to, just read the posts here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/168815-2015-yukontahoe-ear-pressure-buffeting-problem-post-here/ I was the first to lose mine, before I got the first one off the lot, the beautiful, mean, pain in the a$$ that even the heated or cooled seat cant fix, (that is if your seat stays in one place, mine used to jump around at times) 2015 GMC Yukon XL SLT. Here's what you can do: 1) call GM executive office 855-435-7284 and get a prescription number, I mean a case# 2) take it to the nearest friendly GM DEALER 3) post here 4) take it to the nearest friendly GM DEALER 5) post here 1) call GM executive office and tell them, prescription is not working 2) take it to the nearest friendly GM DEALER 3) post here 4) take it to the nearest friendly GM DEALER 5) post here Meantime see if you can find parts and pieces of your mind to research Lemon Law for your state. I'm having my 3year old do the research.
  6. Still does this at certain stations. Pain in the ass trying to put in 26gal, takes 20min. Dealer says ehhhhhh
  7. Hold on there? I washed my SUV and it fixed the problem, it goes faster too. My SA apparently spoke with GM and they told him they are working on the 6th gear via software update. Post the information please, who, where, how? Thank you,
  8. Going in today for the noise in cabin issue, and loose driver seat, and vibration at speed, and disintegrated rear passenger headrest, and who knows what else.
  9. I have this issue also, it is really a pain. thank you for the update.
  10. Ok, I'm not crazy. I will stop going to the shrink and start going to the dealer, again, for yet another issue. Great, I can't wait. Yes, I have the same issue and it is driving me crazy, so I apologize in advance for my rants, my car made me do it. I take it there is no fix for this yet, and will have to endure the parts changing stage at the dealer.
  11. Finally, got her back today. The resolution: A new spoiler. Basically GM shaved the spoiler and it is call it, the FIX.
  12. Ohh man, I been looking front to back, top to bottom for that microwave and coffee maker. Dealer told me I had to find them, that's why I bought the thing. Should I return it?
  13. Yeah it all depends, sometimes it was doing that and sometimes it will pop. Here is the other video when I got it back from the dealer the first time, after they insisted it was the shocks:
  14. UPDATE: Still no resolution, still in the shop. I guess GM can't figure out what to do. Here is a thought, carbon fiber Here is the videos on what happens:
