You HAVE to recover it at a shop , If you try and cheat your way thru this aweful job , it WILL bite you , IT IS A MAJOR PITA !!!! Not a job for a DYI home wrench , at least look into Alldata . Com

Have the hvac recovered , Remove dash braces and brackets SO ALL THATS LEFT IS THE HVAC AIR BOX !!! Remove it , separate the box, replace the half and reinstall,,, It is a bitch of a job , take pics for harness routing etc etc etc , take notes

What aren't you getting about the module having a code to have diagnosed , no one is going to chime in as you haven't gotten it scanned for someone to say " ya I had that code " !!!! Come back with a code and I'll personally look it up for you on my service information Other than that have a nice day

There IS a code , just not where you're looking , I'm not sure what the computer is called off hand ,CSCM,,Charging System Control Module Not pulled by a POS scanner No cel is lit up for this code as it's NOT an engine code

Message means there is a code to be pulled and diagnosed

Iirc I removed the detent for some reason , and in it went , then the tcase came out and apart lol

Tires off the ground and transmission in neutral ? If that shaft falls inside you are screwed , ask me how I know

Because the truck isn't engineered for it thats why .... But try it anyways,,, what do they know ?

It doesn't cost a ton of money to have it charged with oil and R134 at a garage .. How are you going to do it ?
