I think it would be the same answer / question concerning adaptive cruise control when slowing down for traffic in front of you.
I would also question the braking controller you have in your TOAD.
When I was towing my jeep behind my MH the brakes would apply based on force and then apply the lights accordingly.
This is the key. Average on your DIC is based on miles average. Where miles may be able to be set at low range or high range (or between).
I just keep in mid that I have 2 gals left and mentally calculate how far that will take me based on current driving.
Highway may be up to 40-50 miles. Town would be closer to 30ish. Then travel no more then half of that.
I have observed that the last 2 gallons of fuel goes alot faster then the first 2 gallons
This holds true for just about any car. My Santa Fe starts at 500 mi range and I better get gas before 390 miles.
This is a cool idea. Seems a bit complicated (and expensive) just to get cameras to turn on.
How much trouble is it to remove so you can use hitch to actually tow?
Is there some sort of disadvantage to having the cameras on when not towing?
What about the truck thinking there is a trailer attached?
My Hyundai cameras come on when turn signals on. Towing or not.
Why would GM not do this too?
It's about priorities.
It was important to my wife and I to have a house by 30.
We worked, saved and figured out to get there. And we did.
Later generations value other things like "experiences" over other basic survival items. Things like trips and vacations are important to them. Shelter and long term planning (savings) are not.
They live in the now.
I would stay very far away from PIRELLI SCORPION ALL TERRAIN PLUS E
These came on my Hyundai Santa Fe and were replace within 10k miles.
Blew out the sidewall. This tire is know for weak sidewalls.
Over on the Santa Fe forums folks are complaining about reliability constantly.
Did going from the 20s to the 18s change the ride quality?
I would think more sidewall would offer a bit softer ride.
Although the tire may also impact the ride quality.
My 2500 I went from firestone to Faulkin wildpeak and ride quality really got better with an increased load rating
