  1. Finally pulled the trigger on rims and tires. Fuel nutz D251 20x9 with +20 offset. Tires are nitto trail grappler 295/55. Truck has a 2" level haven't noticed any rubbing as of yet. I think there might be some minor rubbing at full lock on the sway bar. Also tye wrapped the fender liner back just to be on the safe side and give a little more clearance.

  2. Stock! Anything I've done to this truck is 100% reversible. When I sell it in two years it will be as stock as the day it left the dealer!

  4. Just put on some BFG KO2 275/65/18 on my new Sierra All Terrain. The installer pumped them up to 50psi because they are E load rated. Seems a bit high to me. What psi are you guys running on your KO2's? Thanks

  6. Yes. This one was completely on me. I stopped to get homework done and was most likely an oversight by me. It is all good now. Downside is, Josh was in the truck when shit went south. Had to take him back to LAX in an Expedition and now that thing wont start. So maybe he is just bad luck. DON'T LET JOSH NEAR YOUR VEHICLE

  8. Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll take some more tonight hopefully. I just put on 33x12.50r18 tires, Atturo Trail Blade... RC 2", with absolutely NO rubbing and NO trimming of anything!! There is still PLENTY of space. Wheels are 18x9 with 0 offset.

  9. Plastidip just to get a good feel. Plus I got plastidip for half price so why not. Actually came out pretty good and doesn't look cheap at all. I'm actually interested in the anthracite grey. I think it would look good on a silver truck. Yup! Well, plastidip.

  12. After reading every post in this thread, I don't think it's a tire problem.

  14. Well I finally fixed my vibration problem. I got sick of dealing with GM and the dealership and I couldn't stand driving it on the highway. So, I went and bought a 2015 Ford F150. I can say the interior of the GM is nicer, but the ride and drive, Ford has it. I also got the Ecoboost 3.5 and it is quick. I think it is quicker than my GM and My GM had 6.2L with 3.37 rear end. So far I think I made the right choice.

  16. If I never drive through that hellhole again it'll be too soon ... When I was living in Phoenix, some jackass stole my '86 Grand Marquis with 253k on the clock. That's where I bought that El Camino on the trailer in my sig pic - for $500! Well, a year later while living in Livermore, CA, my parents back in MA get a call from the Bell, CA PD - they found my Marquis!! I couldn't believe it. Someone had tried to put it on the road, when an inspection revealed the tampered VIN numbers. So, I made the decision to pay the $500 in impound fees and go and get her back, because I knew I could sell it and recoup my cash. So I took a BUS ... from OAKLAND ... at 1am .... to East LA! That's the closest I've ever come to being in a 3rd world country, lemme tell ya! I hung around in the E.LA bus terminal until the sun came up, listening to announcements over the loudspeaker in some other language, before I could find a cab driver to get me to the impound yard. Finally got a ride, paid the yard the $5-large, then had to slide underneath the guy driving it out to keep a foot on the pedal - battery was stone cold dead! The car was filthy - looked like an entire family had lived in it the past year. Looked to be dried noodles all over the carpet. There was a 5' wide rearview mirror, a giant thick & gawdy steering wheel cover, and large fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview - all got tossed out on the I-10. I just wanted to get the hell out of there - was praying I had enough gas, and enough alternator to get me out! I made it all the way up the Grapevine (thank GOD), got off an exit, let off the gas, and the thing stalled. Dead in the water. Just as I started pushing the 4k lb. car by myself, a truck load of Mexican landscapers hopped out and helped me push the car off the road - they couldn't give me a ride since there were 20 of them in the back of this pickup, so I walked about a mile and a half to the autoparts store, and the same distance back carrying a 50 lb battery. Threw the battery in (had been lugging a bag with nothing but tools in it the whole trip), sucked down my disgusting McDonald's burger, and hit the road! 5 hours later I had made it home to Livermore. Next day I spent 8 hours detailing it, changing the oil (same filter I had put on a year prior - 7k miles later!), and giving it a once-around. Threw it in the local Want-Ad, and sold it for $1,200 - paid for the impound fee, and got me money to rent a U-Haul trailer and pull it back to MA with my El Camino. Such fond memories of LA! Thanks for reminding me.

  18. Traded in the 14 5.3 Double cab yesterday for this 15 6.2 Crew. So far I really like it! Had to get a picture with both trucks before I drove off.

  19. Nothing wrong with the single cabs. Actually it's kinda refreshing to see them for a change.

  20. The correct term is "illegal commodities broker" thank you! I actually work for an oil company, which is similar because both businesses provide highly desired products at artificially inflated prices! haha
