  1. I (HAD)... and yes I had one of the First 2014's as mine was purchased in August of '13... I dumped it.. I am a GM fan.. surprisingly still am.. but my truck was a Piece of Crap... They repalced the Diff at 7k.. looked like it had a million miles on it.. I had bad radio, replaced climate control head unit after a few k miles, bad dash trim that was warping, bad My link connections, rust on frame, poor paint, poor head lights, vibrations, clunks, black smoke on start up (more than normal) numerous recalls (of course you guys know that) had a couple dash vibrations, whistling high pitched sound from blower, Poor Fuel economy after ECM update..had been getting 20-22 Hwy, after recall couldnt manage 14...308 mile trip before update had a little over 1/4 tank, after update drove on E for 30 miles before filling up...driver seat popping, poor heated seats, wipers sucked, bumper gap on trim wasnt even....I can go on and on... I couldn't do it any more...
  2. While there may be some "resonating" sound in the new body styles as related to AFM.. thats not what the vibrations are coming from.. I had an 08 Sierra z71 with the 5.3 with AFM.. and that thing rode and drove perfect. .. and it had 207k miles on it when I sold it...

I traded in on a 2013 Traverse LTZ AWD.. ive got my tried and true unbreakable 2007 SLE 2500HD that has 218k on it..so I decided to go family suv.. ive been a GM guy, but even after this Traverse I'd have a hard time buying anything GM apart from a Corvette. On to my work truck. I dont like the way it rides, handles, drives... it has nice top end power but all in all I liked my Chevy better. The stx has a flimsy grill, door rattles, cheap plain interior. The sync system flips out every other day when connecting to my phone..I have to keep hitting power for 10 to 15 sec.until it finally comes on. Has no guts with any payload in the bed. Has wierd drivetrain clunks.. ive looked under the ford and there are some things I like about it. It uses a borgwarner transfer case, and front diff looks better then GMs AAM setup. Drive shafts are smaller on the ford...Id still buy my last truck over this one.. but think id give the ram a shot over the Chevy if I was to do it all over again.   7. Im glad I traded my 2014 ltz 4x4 in.. dont get me wrong, but my current work truck is a 2013 stx 4x4 w/ 5.0... and I would gladly take my Chevy back any day of the week over this truck. .. honestly if I had it to do all over again I would have got a 2014 ram... live and learn...
  8. I wonder if they still comme standard with vibrations, clunks, black puffs of smoke on start up, loose seats and seat covers, rusty frames and leaking onstar antennas? ....
  9. You do realize that "best" and "average" are two completely different things...the best is simply the best you got during that said averge point... I've had my truck go has high as 25.5, but when filling up and hand calculating (the ONLY THING THAT MATTERS) I never got over17.8 mpg....

Congrats to all you guys who are getting buybacks.....I. didnt have the time to deal with legal Action..and as such.. lost about $7k... $38k is what I got trade in.. $43k is what I paid.. $1300 in tires trying to figure the vibration out, and $1300 to register the Traverse that I Traded it in on. GM is lucky I stayed with them, If the Durango RT came with a different interior other than black, or I could afford a low mileage GL350... We would have left. GM....they better get thier act together...

  12. Well the enclave fell through, but I still traded my vibrator in on a 2013 Traverse LTZ and love it.. No more vibrations, and ive still got my trusty 2007 2500hd with 217k on it, if I need a truck, Ive been cleansed and it feels grrrreat!!!
  13. complaining that our trucks are vibrating.....wow...the balls... ive had nothing but gm trucks 05 3/4 ton 4x4 cc sb Duramax, 07 1/2 ton z71 4x4 cc sb, 08 Denali awd, 07 3/4 ton ext cab long bed... NONE of them have vibrated, and since when do you buy a truck with the assumption that you have to carry 1/3 of the trucks payload to have a good ride? Were not talking about cab and chasis 1 ton duallies here.. were talking about daily driver 1/2 tons that have been very poorly engineered at best.
  14. Ive tried all types of fuels 87, 89, 91, 92, and 93..and various combos of all... my lifetime avg is 16.7 and best mpg I can muster over a tank is 17.8... and thats 100% highway.. ive got 5.3 w/3.08s.... how are 6.2s with 3.42s getting better mpg?
  15. I beleive you have 3Gal left when the Low light comes on. Think it starts somewhere around 60ish miles and gows to Fuel Range Low at 20ish....maybe your getting too good of mileage and the truck in cunfused...LOL...Ive havent gotten that good of fuel economy since before i got the updates... Now I do good to Average 17MPG... and i have 3.08s...

  19. Dude, Im glad your truck is this smooth...but watching your video really ticks me off, My truck is like riding on an oval shaped tire... You would think that if there are trucks out there riding this smooth GM engineers to take one and compare it to one like mine (or the thousands of others out there) and figure out whats wrong....   20. I CANT WIN... I BOUGHT NEW TIRES.. NOT IT. .EVEN THOUGH IT RODE SMOOTH AS GLASS AFTER WORDS FOR A COUPLE DAYS.. REBALANCED..SMOOTH AGAIN FOR A COUPLE DAYS.. INSTALLED DYNA BEADS WITH NO CHANGE... HAS ANYONE REPLACED RIMS AND GOTTEN RID OF THIS PESKY VIBRATION??? IM AT MY WITS END... CAN I AFFORD TO PUT TIRES AND RIMS ON .YES...BUT WHY IN THE CRAP SHOULD WE ALL BE BUYING TIRES AND RIMS, WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT GMs PROBLEMS?... I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRUCK TO ANYONE AND IM A COUPLE DAYS WORTH OF IRRITATION AWAY FROM GETTING RID OF IT. ..
  21. My truck rode smooth as glass with the new tires on there for a few days then started vibrating again... keep balancing over and over. .and everytime they are off 1.25 to 1.5oz... I think they are slipping on the rims..??? Not sure what else to do so I am going to try dyna beads and see if they work..if not..then new rims...if that dont work ill trade this black smoke puffing, vibrating hunk of scrap metal in and never buy another GM product again... im fed up with this. ..
