  1. Had to laugh at that one as I had a similar experience. I was sitting in the living room one day wife wasn't home and I hear someone talking so I got up opened the front door and looked outside didn't see anybody sat back down and I hear it again for the 2nd time now iam getting pissed after the 2nd time getting up I heard talking upstairs so I go upstairs and realized I left the tv on in our bedroom. It was a program on that someone was only talking once in a while.
  2. Our smoke alarms are tied together also runs on electric with battery backup. One night about 3am the one in the basement went off 1st then the others I jumped out of bed and probably hitting 2 or 3 stairs heading down fast I got to the basement and saw nothing then they stopped. I was talking to a electrician buddy about it and he laughed a little and he told me what probably happened was a tiny spider crawled across the sensor and set it off. We'll a few days later I saw that little bastard on the side of the detector and he is no longer around.
  3. Thanks I thought that was the date but wasn't sure.
  4. Not all tires get crisscross, tires with directional tread go front to back same go for directional rims can't cross them either. Corvette tires can't be rotated either as the tires are wider in the back and directional. Unless the tires are broke down and flipped on the rim and installed on the opposite side.
  5. We can't wait for the Bosch new season to start next month on Prime, we got hooked on it then after Bosch there's Bosch legacy series as it's a continuation of Bosch then it's the new season starting next month. Reacher is also good that new season starts the end of this month, there all on Prime.
  6. NCIS is also are favorite we been watching it since it started just wish Gibbs would make a comeback. NCIS Sydney is growing on us. NCIS Origins we don't like as we watched it a few times and gave up. I still watch the old Mchale's Navy we I can catch it.
  7. Same here Grumpy I liked them too. I still watch the reruns sometimes when I see them on.
  8. I have always done front to back never crossed them been doing it for 40 some years. I remember when radial tires became popular it was always rotate front to back never crossed due to the steel belts could shift or something like that and cause damage to the tire but that was what I always heard.
  9. I agree with all the rest as you killed that type of towing capacity with the lift and tires.
  10. I guess he never test drove it since it started on day 1.
  11. Never going to happen Stan my wife is the same way. I can be ready to go when waking up out of bed in in 10-15 minutes that's including a shower but with her nooooooo at least close to 1hr. We can be ready to head out the door and she will be grabbing her purse and stuff I go out and get in the truck and iam waiting and waiting almost to the point of my blood pressure rising then here she comes.
  12. You never said you purchased a warranty just for the battery now things are different warranty related. It should be covered and the battery must be in the truck when brought in as newdude said. If you bring just the battery in they don't know where that battery came from it could have came from another vehicle for all they know.
  13. Battery warranty on factory installed that came with the truck when new is 3yrs or 36,000 miles. Now if you bought a new battery from GM say a 48 month battery then the warranty starts when the battery was installed. So if it's a battery that was in the truck when you bought it new in 2019 then it's out of warranty.
  14. You could disconnect the negative cable on the battery for about 10 minutes and connect it back up, this will reboot the computer in the truck and see what happens. I have done this in the past and it fixed some issues. Worth a try.
  15. Football is so fixed it's unbelievable Vegas calls the shots. They already had a superbowl winner before the season began. It's like watching the WWE Wrestling.
  16. Exactly what silveradosid and bikerjon said, GM pays for the rental and you pay nothing, the presenting the card card is normal as you always have to show one just in case you damage the rental even if you rent one on your own you have to show a credit card no matter what. If you would have went along with what they wanted AT NO CHARGE TO YOU your truck would have been fixed by now your going to have to fight the denying warranty claim from GM which is going to be a long road now. I had a 2015 2500HD that was in the shop for about a week GM gave me a rental yes I had to show a credit card for reasons stated above and it was NO charge to me.
  17. I wouldn't put the additive in there being still under warranty now if no warranty try it. The rear from what he describes has taken a beating and is greatly reduced the life of the rear if he puts in in there now and if it cures the problem now there going to say there's no problem with rear now and send him on his way now he will have to live with a rear with short life expectancy even though the additive cured it.
  18. I would try the dealer or auto salvage yards. Take a picture of what you need.
  19. Even though it's a V nose it's still pushing a lot of wind therefore the Trans shifting alot. My utility trailer with the ramp gate up I can feel a slight drag pulling it at 55-60 mph even though the ramp has the open mesh metal screening. With the gate off I feel nothing.
  20. You have alot of wind drag on the flat front trailer. That's the issue.
  21. For people seeing humidity inside the cab and windows make sure the AC button is on and adjust the temp where you want it this removes humidity inside the cab just like your house AC does. Alot of people see the AC button light is on and turn it off and that where the problem is. It's even the owners manual.
  22. Maybe you need to read your contract on warranty platinum coverage before you call your dealer scumbags cause you didn't get your way on your 1st post. It's a wear item. GM Platinum coverage does not cover the following: Batteries and cables: Batteries, battery cables, and battery harnesses Lenses, lights, and bulbs: Lenses, sealed beams, and light bulbs Key fobs and tire pressure sensors: Key fobs and tire pressure sensors Brake rotors and drums: Brake rotors and drums Exhaust components: All exhaust components, unless specifically listed as covered Trim items: Trim items Tires and wheels: Tires and wheels/rims Maintenance services: Routine maintenance services Modifications: Modifications to the frame, suspension, engine, transmission, or drive axle Odometer: If the odometer stops working or is altered after the contract is purchased Salvaged or rebuilt vehicles: If the vehicle has been salvaged, rebuilt, or is a gray market vehicle
  23. Probably around $2400 out the door price including 8 credits.
  24. Vehicles are not washed until delivery yes there getting dusty sitting on the lot but rain takes care of that nothing like driving down the road etc in bad weather, there's no way they wash 100+ vehicles sitting on the lots. My wife worked at a Chevrolet dealership for 15+ years.
