  1. So, did you buy it? That truck is a unicorn and it will surely appeal to someone else as well!
  2. Welcome to the 3.0 club!
  3. I don't really have an answer but I'm in MA and my Silverado, my wife's Atlas and my sons' RAV4 and S90 all have OEM LED headlights and I am not aware of any police concerns. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  4. They can do better - they may just not want to. I purchased my RST Z71 3.0 4 weeks ago. I received $9500 off the sticker, which was exactly $60,000. That was a $4500 dealer discount and the $5000 rebate. I also received a very fair trade value on 2 older vehicles: a 2010 Toyota Tundra and a 2018 Subaru Forester.
  5. I think that's nice deal and sounds like a sharp truck!
  6. You can configure the front buttons to open all 4 doors with one touch; problem solved.
  7. Yes, I think in this climate getting 15% or better off a mid-level trim with either the 6.2 or the diesel is pretty good. Higher trim lines have more margin and there is less demand for the lower trim lines and standard engines, so their discounts will be greater. You got a great deal on the buyout of your previous truck so you have to look at the total deal. I got 15.8% off MSRP on my RST Z71 3.0. Could I have haggled for another $500 or $1000? Probably, but I received what I thought were fair trade values on 2 vehicles and that saved me over $2000 in sales tax here in MA. I was very happy with the total deal. Enjoy your new truck!
  8. No sales tax or dealer fees in those prices above? Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  9. I just bought 2 weeks ago, my deal is mentioned a couple pages back. I got 16% off MSRP and a good value on 2 trade-ins. I thought that was a pretty fair deal on a diesel RST. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  10. Same. Did mine on Sunday. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
  11. The stock 20" tire on the LT/RST/Elevation is a 275/60R20 which is a 33" diameter tire; pretty good size for an OEM fitment.
  12. Just got my RST 3.0 last week and already have nearly 500 miles. First lengthy drive was all highway from Mass to Maine on Monday, cruise control set at 7 over, so 72 or 77 MPH depending. Trip computer showed 25.6 MPG, which I thought was pretty good for a brand new engine but I topped it off and hand calculated was even better: 249 miles / 9.2 gallons = 27 MPG.
  13. I see shockwarehouse.com also shows part number 24-293471 and that is the part number that rockauto.com also shows for the 1500. Any ideas on that?
  14. I think certain models are only made in Mexico, so depending on what you want to buy that could factor in to your decision. I have had my 2020 Silverado 1500 RST Z71 diesel for just 1 week and I have no complaints so far. Not much of a sample size, I know. I drove a 2010 Tundra CrewMax (manufactured in Texas) for 10 years before this so I am appreciating some of the newer features and refinement of a new truck. I had a 2000 Silverado 1500 many years ago, and I believe that was manufactured in Ontario, Canada. It really is a global marketplace. I can understand your loyalty to American-made but I am willing to bet the clothes on your back and the shoes on your feet were made overseas. If you find the truck that you really like, I would not let the place of manufacture cloud your decision making.
