  11. put in my new console organizer. fits great and makes better use of the giant console. place to put some change was nice too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-22817343-Front-Floor-Console-Organizer-Ebony-OEM-GM-Warranty-NEW-/351064963962?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2014%7CModel%3ASierra+1500&hash=item51bd1a3b7a&vxp=mtr
  12. I have done this and it was really easy. The only question I have is this: Is there a different set of wires that we could tap so it takes 2x unlock in order to unlock the tailgate like it does the 3 doors that aren't the drivers door. I figure if I hit lock... lock all 5 locks (4 doors and tailgate) If I hit unlock once.... I just want the drivers door unlocked If I hit unlock twice... unlock all 5 locks I figure it would save the tailgate actuator since most of my time is getting in and out of just the drivers door.
  13. when you say max tire size, are you going wide or tall?

  17. diablo intune: http://www.amazon.com/DiabloSport-I1000-inTune-Vehicle-Programmer/dp/B0064IU5FW K&N intake 63-3082 http://www.amazon.com/63-3082-Cold-Intake-Chevy-Silverado/dp/B00IOU1BPQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1396569911&sr=1-2&keywords=K%26N+63+sierra+2014 I notice quicker response, shifts faster and smoother. butt dyno says more HP off each of them, but I dont plan on taking it to a Dyno. The intake changed the sound a bit. at normal driving speeds it inst any different, but when you step on the pedal it has a grumble to it now. In my Yukon Denali with similar changes, I averaged 1mpg better... over 7 years it paid for itself. The added response and power was just a bonus. also Diablo Lew does some custom tunes based on your driving which I plan to do soon. http://www.diablewtune.com/
  18. I guess it depends on what you want to use your truck for. I ride quads, so I put in a spray in bed liner (Line-X) for the back, and weather tech mats so I don't get mud all over the inside I also like the storage space in the bed, so I went with an access rollup tonneau cover to keep things dry. I wanted to keep people out of the bed, so I put a pop lock on the tailgate. flip down DVD player for the kids Intune tuner and K&N intake for more HP and better mpg. HID kit for better lighting. LED reverse lights and bed lights were a nice addition for cheap. my antenna would drag my garage door, so I got a shorter one. everything served a purpose for me, but if you are looking for ideas lookswise: I want to get some wider tires, but will probably keep my stock AT wheels. painting the GMC signs is cheap and easy way to clean up the looks. some people like to de-badge everything, which just takes time and gives a cleaner look. Grilles, LED taillights (someday if they ever come out with some for the 2014's), and aftermarket headlights (again waiting for) are ways to give a personal look. level kits, or lifts add a lot to the looks (some even lower them)

does your truck have factory fog lights already?
  20. my fog lenses haven't melted. They are just a cheap ebay kit. 35 watt. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=111297459758 I did the same thing on my 04 Yukon Denali and melted the lenses a little bit with a 55watt kit, so I went with 35 watts this time.
  21. ya, I did an install write up: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/159103-aftermarket-rear-dvd-player/?hl=overhead
  22. this wasn't all today, but within the past couple weeks: 6000k HID headlight and fog light conversion Line-x spray in bed liner LED cree reverse lights and bed lights painted the front GMC sign black & removed the tailgate GMC sign flip down DVD player - 17inch Access soft rolling tonneau cover weathertech mats antenna x 14in antenna K&N intake (63-3082) Diablo intune tuner installed the pop lock tailgate locking actuator
