  1. I pried the plastic bracket away from the firewall at its lowest point and wedged a 1/4" thick piece of rubber. Works great, even with the small (1/8") amount of play mine had, the vagueness of throttle is mostly gone now. I highly recommened using something like rubber. If you use something metal, it has a good chance of rattling.
  2. Just checked mine. Non-adjustable pedals, surprisingly little flex. Only about 1/8" at the most. I wedged a piece of rubber behind it anyway.
  3. There are a few guys over on PerformanceTrucks.net Some have been going all motor and experimenting with cams while most guys stuck with a supercharger. I think someone recently posted a turbo setup. I'm waiting a couple years to see if any weak links fail before I void the warranty haha.
  4. Yeah overfilling your engine with oil can be pretty bad. Blowout seals, foam up the oil, not to mention severe parasitic power loss as your crank will be sloshing around in that extra oil. Good thing you noticed it.
  5. I used Gumout Regane. Mixed with roughly 15 gallons of 91 octane. My idle problems started when I filled up at a station that doesnt sell much fuel. I normally try stick to stations that sell enough fuel to keep their fuel fresh.
  6. Yeah the injector cleaner doesnt get the intake runners or valves but it definitely helped my idle vibrations. Ran silky smooth after a good highway run witht the stuff.
  7. I just FF'd mine a few weeks ago. It does soften the factory undercoating but it's still worth putting the Fluid Film on. Once there's a flake/crack/scrape in the factory uc, it seems to accelerate rusting of the frame if anything. Fluid film is one of the few good options out there. Krown is supposed to be good if you're in Canada. Krown and FF are supposedly pretty similar.
  8. Looks like Dodge Hemi's have the exact same issues with their MDS (aka AFM). http://www.dodgeramhell.com
  9. I finally managed to make a quick video. I'm hoping to get a video with more revving/acceleration soon. Warmed Up
  10. New Cooper S/T Maxx LT265/70R17's to replace those shitty OE Continental 20's. Mounted on American Racing AR901's. The switch from P275/55R20's to E-rated LT265/70R17's really woke this truck up. Those P-metrics really over-accentuated the soft-sprung suspension on these trucks.
  11. Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx LT265/70R17 American Racing AR901 17x8.5 +20mm offset Very quiet on the highway for how aggressive they look. Ride great at 42 psi.
  12. I'll work on getting a video up this week.
  13. I got the Gibson single swept side exhaust. It sounds good with a nice deep burble. Unfortunately the V4 drone is horrible. The pipes and muffler were heavy gauge stainless. Easily better than a Flowmaster setup. The clamps Gibson includes with the kit are garbage. I managed to snap one of the U-bolts with nothing more than a 1/2" ratchet. I ended up ordering a couple Walker lap joint band clamps and Permetex exhaust sealant. Exhaust note sounds much better with a proper seal.
