  1. Really not an apples to apples comparison. If all GM was trying to do is get good mileage while towing, I'm sure they could do better. But the fact is there are sources like TFL truck and others that drag race them loaded and unloaded and like it or not how they perform in these tests help sell them. And I'm willing to bet most people will give up some MPG to have them perform well in all scenarios. So given the size of these trucks and the wide range of how they are used and what most buyers demand, I wouldn't flat out say GM is not getting things right.
  2. I have a 2020 Gas and a 2020 Diesel. The diesel does much better MPG in my experience so far. Towing and empty. Maybe that will change by a wider gap or tighten up a bit once they are both fully broken in..we'll see.
  3. Frustrating you cant do it wireless but certainly nothing unsafe about connecting via usb before you start driving, works fine.
  4. I actually got them from my local tire shop. Factory sensors so easy to set the TPMS.
  5. I got the XD’s on today. Leaving everything stock the 295/65/20 rubbed more than I like. Went with 285/65/20 G2’s and they barely JUST touch at full lock in reverse. Wheels are 20x9 +18
  6. Updated pics with new XD’s. Truck is completely stock including the torsion bars. Wheels are 20x9 +18. Tires are Nitto G2’s 285/65/20. Tried 295’s but they rubbed pretty good while turning. The 285’s are a touch bigger than stock and just barely touch at full lock while reversing, hardly worth mentioning.
  7. My 2017 had a knock you could hear while slowing to a stop, 2020 does it too. Knock knock sound then goes away once stopped. Had no issues with the 2017
  8. I currently have Chrome 20" with +10 offset and 295/60/20 Nitto G2's. I thought the 295/60's looked a tad too small but a larger tire won't clear with +10's. I'm putting on black 20" XD's next week with a +18 offset with 295/65/20 G2's. Based on what I've read here and by looking at my truck I'm thinking they'll just clear. I'll update after they're on.
  9. I have 295/60/20 Nitto G2's on +10 wheels that clear with no mods. I'm going to 295/65/20 on +18's. I think the ridge Grapplers should clear no problem on stock wheels bsed on how my current setup looks.
  10. I have seen at least one truck so far on here with that size. He said they clear with room to spare. Another has aftermarket rims with 35" tires and a +18 offset that clear stock. I just ordered some new rims and tires that will be going on early next week. I went with 295/65/20 so will know first hand. Based on what I've read, that size should easily fit with stock rims.
  11. What offset are your wheels? Thinking of changing mine again.
  12. Totally disagree. I love the fact the Chev has a new look that is different from all the others And I really like the interior over my 2017. I think it is the best looking HD available and really prefer the interior from a user friendly standpoint over the Ram. I rented a top end Ram a month ago and while it looked nice, user experience was poor. I had to navigate the touch screen every time I wanted to turn on or off the cooled seats and many functions were hidden and not readily available. I Say this as a non biased buyer who test drove all manufacturers before buying my 2020 HD. Ram looks dated in my opinion.
  13. Agree. My 2020 Chev gets wet about 2' into the box as well after going through a high pressure wash. I have the Embark cover.
  14. Did you try the spacers? Just wondering if they clear being pushed out that far.
  15. 4900 on mine now. Shifts very smooth, with and without a trailer. Certainly feels stronger towing than my 17 did. The only complaint I have is the less than lively pedal at takeoff when driving without a trailer.
  16. Every time I see the front of this truck I like it more!
  17. Should easily fit
  18. I have +10's with 295/60/20 on mine. No rubbing stock.
  19. I saw a video on a new 2017 l5p showing 403rwhp and 879rwtq.
  20. I had a 2011 3500 HD, 2015 3500 HD and a 2017 2500HD and couldn't tell a difference in the way they drove. In this 2020, like I said above, you can notice a bit more of a stiff ride in the 3500 but it still drives nice, more noticeable difference than the previous gen trucks imo.
  21. My 2500 is at the dealer right now getting a power retrax. They gave me a new 2020 3500 as a loaner. The 3500 does feel a bit stiffer than the 2500 but it still drives nice. I would say if you tow a lot, get a 3500. If you just tow occationally and just prefer an HD I'd say the 2500 is the way to go.
  22. I have a 2020 2500HD that I replaced my 2017 2500HD with. I had to install Timbrens on the 2017 as my 30' trailer squated my truck below level. I won't need them on the 2020, squat is minimal, still above level in the rear and rides much better unloaded.
  23. Good to hear. I also need to get the sensors in the trailer tires. Are you getting the accessory camera’s from GM or somewhere else? I’d like to get a couple as well. On a side note, if anyone is taking aftermarket wheels with sensors from their previous truck, the sensors have changed. The new style are $34.00 a piece from GM.
  24. Looks awesome..How are you liking the new 6.6?
