  1. I'll agree there are a few issues running around out there, but that doesn't mean you gotta go dropping the F bomb LOL
  2. Woah, did you fall and hit your head today?
  3. Lol, I just placed a bid on flea bay for black ones
  4. Looking good bro, I have the same truck, took off the h/c emblems, and 4x4 stickers. Debating on going with black handles, and mirror caps.
  5. pretty sure the sound would be similar, just waiting to find out for sure, and the changes (if any) in power/mileage. The more mods i do to this truck, the more i love it. Think my girl is getting jealous...lol
  6. I've been itching to hear another 6.2 with a borland system as well
  7. On a side note, I'm not here to argue, or bash anyone. Hopefully my experience will help others. I gathered my info from experts, IMO, dealers are NOT experts at tires, they offered to mount/balance/install my tires for free, I chose to pay a shop that specializes in tires, and alignment. Would you call an electrician to fix a plumbing problem? Lol.. Hope this helps, and keep your negative comments to yourself
  8. I've posted this before. 2014 crew cab 4x4 6.2 3.42. Bought the truck brand new, had the 70+ vib immediately, after dealer rf balanced, they replaced 2 good years. Vib better, but not 100% gone. Dealer installed Michelin 275/55/20 vib gone for about 5,000 miles. I did some research, every other truck I've had had LT tires, not P tires, it's my belief the manufactures run p tires for ride, and mileage. I decided to level/ lift my truck, and install 305/55/20 nitto Lt trail grapplers. Problem solved, have almost 30,000 miles on it now, owned it one year, dealer did a couple recalls while performing my free service, and gave me a vehicle to drive while doing so. This is one of the best trucks I've owned, out performs anything else out there, and in comfort. I would say that's a far cry from a P.O.S.
  9. That truck looks awesome with 35's. I'm running a 4" lift with 33's and have minor rubbing in the same area when I'm turning and backing up
  10. I am, after about 12,000 miles, I'm researching other kits to soften the ride (speed bumps), and lift it a bit more. Starting to hear some unusual noises when I'm turning.
  11. Smoked a new "bad ass hemi" getting on the interstate, when we got to our destination he was very disappointed... Lol
  12. I had the cruise set at 75, shifted down to m mode, think it dropped to m4, then went to m5, then m6, the vibration was still present in every gear. Been a while, so jogging my memory a bit. I even dragged my foot on the brake, and gave more gas to put a heavier load on to see if it would change. My experience was tires changed it. What I found strange was sometimes it was more noticeable than others, on the same stretch of highway, that led me to believe it wasn't a mechanical issue, to me a bad drive shaft, or rear diff, or trans, or engine mount, the vib would be consistent all the time
  13. I tried putting it in m6 at 75, keeping it out of v4 mode when I was having the vibration issue, mine still vibrated. The dealer put a vibration analysis device in my truck, and said the frequencies matched tire speed. They installed 4 brand new Michelin tires, vibration gone... Well for 5,000 miles anyway, then it came back. Every time they did something with my tires (rf balance) replaced 2 good years, then installed the Michelin's, the vibration would go away, then come back. I took it upon myself to upgrade, and installed nitto LT305/55/20, Vibration has been gone for over 15,000 miles now. There may be another problem, but for me the tires corrected my ride issues.
  14. Best ride I experienced was the p rated Michelin's, they are in my garage with about 5,000 miles on them, dealer swapped the bad years out for them. Truck rode perfect, and quiet, then the vibe came back. The nittos I have now (lt305/55/20) are a bit stiffer, but no vibe. As much as I drive, I prefer the stiffer ride with no vibe, and a little road noise (with the radio off). Make sense?
  15. I think the "lightweight" p tires give the best gas mileage, but can't handle the weight/speed for some reason.
  16. My dealer has several vibrating trucks, I was the first to put LT tires on, and correct the vibe, they just put a set of LT bridge stones on another truck, and it smoothed it out. Seems that's the fix
  17. How's the 5.7 on power, and mpg?
  18. My shake went away with LT tires, P tires aren't meant for 6,000# trucks.
  19. Hits hard over speed bumps, other than that I would say just a tad tighter. I went from p michilins to Lt nittos, at the same time the lift went on, so not sure if the lift tightened it, or the tires
