  1. I miss my 91. I sold it before I sold my Duster, I just wanted to cut back on my collection. Wish I had sold the Duster first, I'd probably still have the 91, with a new paint job. in that pic the Sierra is bone stock and the 91 has a 4" spindle lift and 235/85r16s. Trucks have gotten needlessly big.
  2. Cleaned it and packed it for a road trip.
  3. Stock wheels and tires, but only a 1.5" level. I have 5100s to go in just trying to decide if I sure put them in @ 3/4" with the 1.5" block or take out the block and put them in at the top notch.
  4. Finally some decent sun. Trying to decide if I should leave the 1.5" level in and put the 5100s in at 3/4". Or pull the 1.5" level and put the 5100s in at the top notch. I like a little rake for towing, so I'm torn on how much rake to leave.
  5. Found a set of barely used Nitto 420s online, so I picked them up. I have 2" drop spindles and a 5-6 rear flip kit, but I've been toying with the idea of going the other way lately. So I've been dragging my feet on putting them on.
  6. That's rich coming from the wealth of miss information I've seen you post before getting it deleted lol
  7. I had 275/60r20s on my 2017 High Country about a month before trading it in. No level, stock wheels, no rub. Don't know what to tell you. But they weren't a problem. And yes the HC had stamped arms.
  8. You won't be rubbing your control arm with either the 275/60 or the 275/65, they are the same width as the stock 275/55's, just taller. With the 275/65 you may rub the back of the fender, it's considerably taller then stock at 34", which might be too tall for a 2.25" level. There are plenty of people running 275/60r20s on a stock truck with no rubbing. Rubbing becomes a problem on stock offset wheels when you go wider. I've seen plenty of people, including myself, run 285's on a leveled truck with out rubbing, but once you start getting into 295's and wider, it's likely to rub.
  9. Not to be a downer, but has she talked to a lawyer yet? Everything is usually copacetic until a lawyer gets involved. Suddenly they want everything. Lawyers don't make money on amicable. Good luck, hope she's not easily swayed.
  10. Removed the badges.
  11. That part wasn't really in question. I get that it depends on which hole is used. But is the kit the same as the 7" kit, but with reverse hangers?
  12. For some reason I'm struggling to picture this so I'll ask you guys if my train of thought is right. I bought the Belltech 5-6" flip kit. From what I can tell, it's the 7" flip kit with an adjustable reversed shackle hanger. Depending on which holes I use it's 5 or 6 inches, with the stock shackles. This is correct? If so, if I set the shackle hangers at 6" and install my 2" drop shackles I'd end up with a 4" drop, correct? And a 7" drop of I installed a 1" lift shackle? And if I decided I wanted to go back to stock, i could remove the flip kit and put the stock shackles back in with the reverse hangers and be 1" lower than stock in the back. And the 2" drop shackles would be 2" lift shackles at that point, am I on the right track? Also, I'm only going 2" in the front and starting at 6" in the back. If I need to be at 5" I'll put the drop shackles in at 1". Other than a shim for the transmission, should I order anything else just in case? I haven't lowered a truck in a long time and just want to have everything ready. Do you need offset bushings for just 2" spindles? Sorry in advance, I'm just trying to make sure I have everything before I start. I don't want to have to order more in the middle of doing everything.
  13. I don't mind black and chrome, as long as it's done tastefully, and on other people's vehicles. I hate the care black paint requires, there's only one time it looks great and that's right after it rolls out of the paint booth. After that it's all down hill. It's a better look then the boring black wheel trend.
  14. I found the quicklifts to be about the same as the spacers when I did the swap in my 2012. On my 2014 I went to bilstein and found the ride to be better. On the 2014 I did the bilstein 5100's set at 1.85" with a 1/4" spacer, and I found the ride to be pretty much the same as stock.
  15. So glad I don't drive the Sierra in the winter. All the cancer rocks being put down suck.
  16. No. Coil overs are adjustable in place. The quicklift is just an extended strut. And IMO they ride like shit.
  17. I had to get something from behind it. So I decided to let it soak up some sun.
  18. Looks good, would look better with colour matched grille and bumpers.
  19. Depends on the truck. On a crew cab, pulling the blocks will give it a level look. On a regular cab short box, pulling the block is barely noticeable.
  20. I believe the 19's will come in a RCSB eventually. I even saw a camo'd RCSB being tested at some dunes. Looked like a Trail Boss as well. Hopefully that is an option. I'd love to see an RST RCSB with a 6.2, but that'll never happen, GM stopped doing cool things with trucks years ago, with the last RCSB RST's.
  21. Also, it would seem the RCSB is making a bit of a resurgence. Seeing a lot more of them lately. Glad to see it...
  22. What happened to the ZR2?
  23. That is what happens when people with out taste design a bumper
  24. I've been looking for a set of those since May 2017. But everyone I find want's an arm and a leg for them. I ended up pick up a cheap set of CK159's which I've decided I don't like and I'm going to sell lol... As much as I want CK161's I'm going to stick with 20's I think.
