  1. I can give that a shot
  2. Why not just get the Morimoto Sierra Spec kit? It's worth it to have all the parts come as a package. It's practically plug and play after.
  3. Can anyone help me out here? I got the Sierra spec kit yesterday and installed it. Install went well, headlights work great but I noticed a slight buzzing sound sometimes from the ballast on the drivers side, and it goes away and sometimes it sounds like it's the igniter. I can't hear any buzzing whatsoever from the passenger side. I can also only hear the buzzing with the engine off. Lights seem to work well, they both turn out fine and are steady. I think I did notice the smallest amount of flickering while driving on a dirt road though. It was very minimal though. I tried reversing a few plugs and nothing. Anyone have any ideas? It's the Sierra spec morimoto kit with 35w ballasts and 4500k bulbs. Thanks ***Update, I think it wasn't flickering but rather just the washboard road and because the lights are brighter, that cutoff can be slightly more jumpy. However the slight buzzing on the one side remains.
  4. I just bought the Morimoto 35w Sierra kit. If I decide these suck and down the road I want to add the Lexus RX projectors, is it as simple as just buying the projectors and adding them to the kit?
  5. That just looks great. Awesome looking truck.
  6. I just drove 6 hours in the storm yesterday. My impressions of the tires are this. Really good in snow, so so in slush, not great on ice. Ultimately, I'd say they are as good as dedicated winter tires, but not as good as top of the line dedicated winter tires. I had brand new Yokohama ice guard ig51v's last year and they were better than the K02's in all snow conditions I've faced so far. Having said that, the fact that they are as good as most winter tires (except the better ones) is good enough for me! Pretty amazing really for an All-Terrain.
  7. 16k Miles, have owned it for a year and 2 months. or 26k kms
  8. Level kit and 275/65/20?
  9. I'd be interested in knowing what everyone's road force balance numbers are.
  10. Agreed, absolutely love the chrome wheels for once!
  11. Took a few shots tonight on the way home
  12. Nope all stock! And thanks!
  13. This thread is entirely too quiet.
  14. Here's what I'm thinking. I think I'll be happy with that, no more mods after. Going to Aim for 3/4" lift in the back and 1.25" up front. Maybe a tune next year.
  15. 3rd setting right? I'll probably end up doing that anyway due to the cost. I can get 5100's in Canada for 140$ each (fronts). Pretty good deal for us.
  16. Jesus Christ!!!!! That's unbelievable! Wheels do look damn good though!
  17. Can't remember off the top of my head. I'll have to go measure again. Probably close to the same. Thing is I already feel small bumps with the stock setup and the 20" bfg KO2's. So I am a little hesitant to add more stiffness. I won't be going off road really, just gravel and dirt roads here and there. Just looking for a better way to lift the truck 1.25 or so up front and 1" in the back.
  18. 500$ Canadian. So like 10$ US 500$ Canadian. Only because they have to do the center cap in a special way with urethane or something. Without center caps I was quoted 375$ Canadian.
  19. I'd definitely love to own one of those! So unique!
  20. That Toyota is amazing!!
  21. Truck is now 95% vibration free and a world better than it was before getting this work done properly. I don't think the remaining 5% is due to tires or rims at least. A lot better for sure.
  22. Turns out, my rims are totally fine. The problem is one rear tire was completely out of spec. The dealer I bought the tires from told me they were having a hard time balancing one of the tires on the "new machine" last week when I got them. Then they came out and said they put the tire on the old machine and all of a sudden it balanced. Obviously I was pretty weary of this but said whatever I have new tires. I'm at a different shop right now and they managed to find me a new tire at a local warehouse and it's being rushed over here now. They're even going to send back the faulty tire for me. Pretty sweet deal! I hope the truck is vibration free now.
