  1. Thanks! I believe my March build LTZ has those. They don't "swipe" when using the turn signal like the fronts do. That's why I was confused. 2023-08-21_1692612038737.mp4
  2. Stupid question - but is there anywhere online to see what the animated tail lights look like?
  3. I had the factory 18" Michellins on my 2024 2500, just swapped them out with 20" factory wheels and Nitto Recon grapplers. The Michellins were spinning on me in wet grass and the Nitto's just move the truck along.
  4. I would be curious to know what the issues where with your 2020 that left you stranded? We recently traded in a Duramax because we loved the engine, hated the emissions. It left us stranded several times with DEF heaters and sensors going out randomly. Loving our gas 6.6 at the moment. Sorry you are having issues, I hope everything gets sorted to your satisfaction.
  5. Oops totally missed the sport package - good catch! Now that I think about it, I wish mine had those as well.......oh well.
  6. Unless they meant a 3500 dual rear wheel, then they are full of crap. Just bought this 2024 crew cab long bed Z71 last week.
  7. Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately that's what I figured. I ended up trading in on a 2024 HD anyway. I appreciate the answer!
  8. Can't find this answer anywhere, so trying here. Will the GM Tech 2 programmer and AC Delco software allow programming of the active safety control module? I have a 2022 LTZ with no lane departure warning and have all the parts to add the camera, long range radar, switches, etc. I just can't find anyone who can program the module. Not really caring that much about auto braking, but I do have a bad habit of drifting on long road trips. Thanks!
  9. We actually got rid of 2 diesels because of all the emissions issues we were having (both out of warranty). One was a 2018 GMC SLT 2500 (our work truck) and the other was a 2016 Chevy High Country 2500 (our personal truck). We had nothing but issues on both of them. Not the motor itself, it was awesome - but the fuel pump on the 2016 and injectors on the 2018 - and problem after problem with the DEF system. Both trucks were paid for with cash, but we probably spent over $15000 in repairs - all right around 100k miles. Switched to a 2022 Ford 250 for the work truck and a 2022 Silverado 2500 LTZ for our personal truck - both gas engines. We pull a tractor and hay quite a bit and the occasional camping trip in an 11k pound fifth wheel - can't tell a difference between pulling gas/diesel other than RPM. I averaged 19mpg in the diesel and I get 17mpg in the gas (both daily drivers around town). Take away the emissions crap and I would switch to a diesel again in a heartbeat. Keep it on there and no thanks, not reliable enough for long road trips with a camper and the family.
  10. LOL, I never thought of that - although my last 2500 was a High Country and had the ventilated (cool on my ass) seats and there was a funny smell in the cab for about a year after I bought it (used). I plan on keeping my current 2500 for the long haul, but I'll try to lay off the chili just in case
  11. Still waiting. Bought a 2022 LTZ back in September (found one in transit to dealer and bought it before it arrived). Picked it up the 8th of September, still waiting for the heated/cooled front seat bottoms and the parking assist.
  12. Hi all, trying to install a dash cam with lane keep assist and it says to connect 2 wires to the left and right turn signals. I am OK with diy, but can't read a wiring diagram very well. Does anyone know what color the wires are and where to find then in the cab of the truck? Thanks for any help anyone can give! Sorry, forgot to add - it's a 2022 LTZ 2500.
  13. OK, so I finally got around to installing the door harness and re-pinning the BCM (early 2015 2500hd) that I ordered months ago. Everything works correctly on the driver's side, power fold - blinker - cargo/courtesy LED light - amber running light. On the passenger's side, everything works with the exception of the cargo/courtesy LED light. I am at work today, so can't pull the passenger side wiring apart until later, but if everything looks ok, is this a common issue (like, hey - you missed this step) or is it possible the LED light is bad. If it is a bad light, can those be changed? Thanks!
