  1. I had to PHYSICALLY walk into my local dealership to be able to talk to someone about the seat issue. It takes me about a half hour to get home from work, and i played phone tag the other day with voice message recordings of service reps, hang ups, front desk girls etc, and was never able to speak to someone. Took almost my entire drive home...i was F-IN FURIOUS!! Anyway, like i said above, had to actually walk in to dealership to talk to someone. I was told to bring the truck in and they could fix it in a day. Said they use "shims" to fix?? Also said his guy does them all the time and that hes getting real good at fixing the seat issues now(and laughed about it like it was something i should be glad about) I Prob will also add the hose clamps too as a reinforcement...this seat moving is driving me insane...smh
  2. I just got back from a 1k road trip, and the shake is def there. Soon as i start to hit 75-80, it starts...really annoying. I will say tho, that if GM had designed the arm rest/bench differntly to be more rigid, i think half of us wouldnt even know a problem exists. I say this because i can put a good amount of my weight on the arm rest and it stops shaking. (I know others have floor shake/steering etc)
  3. Man, this thread is bumbing me out. I have some vibration too and it sucks! Its really the only problem ive had so far. Reading everyones bad experiences really puts a sour feeling in my stomach. Wish everyone the best in resolving this.
  4. I was thinking of bringing mine in to "fix the shake", but enough people here seem to have tried, so if theirs weren't fixed, what in the hell would I get out of even attempting to go to my dealership? I also have an aftermarket Borla exhaust on mine and I can see that they would probably use that as an excuse as to why the vehicle is shaking....no thanks. I just do NOT have the time for back and forth dealership trips....SUCKS man!
  5. Thnks Rob, I appreciate it.
  6. Incredible
  7. Wow...I googled "2014 silverado arm rest shake" and found this thread. Mine shakes pretty bad. Has anyone tried tightening the arm rest? If I put most of my upper body down on mine, it stops shaking lol! BTW...All kidding aside, this SUCKS and I'm PISSED
  8. I bought a Backflip VP and I'm on the fence about it. For anyone that doesn't know, the entire top is vinyl...looks really nice and is pretty much flush with the top of bed. I noticed on mine a few "dead spots". What I mean is they look like lighter spots that aren't consistent with the darker surrounding area. I had to use some Q-tips dipped in black shoe polish to darken up the areas. I'm pretty anal about things with my truck, so keep that in mind. Overall looks good, fits nice, but I wish I would have spent more and got something a little bit better
  9. Wow...extremely good advice, thank you. Im actually considering getting a Borla S Type cat back. From all the vids ive seen, it may be just right. Looks like ill be getting my wife to do some drive bys first:)
  10. Would cutting out the resonator be a better option for sound and just leave the third cat? (I replaced stock muffler with a Borla muffler)
  11. Also want to add that i purchased the Intune by Diablo. It has pre programmed tunes on the handheld device. I was amazed at how it woke my truck up! My point bringing up the Intune is that you can turn off the V4 mode...keeping the truck firing on all 8cyl..all the time...no drone! Im sure most of you know this, but wanted to mention it as an extra mod along with the Airaid and Borla muffler...its a must buy
  12. I've listened/watched your video about a dozen times now. I think it sounds perfect!
  13. Great video^ Was that a cold start?
  14. Thank for the info^^ I'm going to have to look for some vids. Sounds like your set up may be for me. With just my Borla muffler, I only hear it really good on cold startups and when I punch it. Would love to be able to hear it just a tad more on driving in and idling.
  15. Hi everyone, great thread with interesting info! I have a 2014 5.3 LT, and I just replaced the stock muffler with a Borla Pro xs. I also have the Airaid Mit. Sound is nice, but looking for a little more rumble. Which delete would increase sound? The last cat or the resonator? This is my first post but have been lurking for a while! Thnks, jason
