  1. I have a dash rattle coming from my defrost vent when I hit 50mph. I have done all the typical tightening of bolts from under steering wheel, removed speedo and tightened all the bolts behind that, removed the a column pillars and removed the dash/ speaker cowling and tightened all the bolts on the dash there. After all everything that I’m used to doing, I have still have a rattle coming from the defrost vent area when I hit 50 mph. Has anyone else had this rattle and or does anyone have a suggestion on what else to try??!!
  2. So I'm the latest victim of crappy condenser. I have a 2015 Sierra with 53000 miles on it and weld in the upper right corner where my condenser was leaking from. Thanks to carnau's video and instructions, I was able to do it myself in about two hours plus time to vacuum and charge. Thanks Carnau!
  3. My '15 Sierra All Terrain had different color wires in box 10 to 18. Box 10 was brown/ purple and jumped to box 18 which was All Brown wire. But the box diagram is still correct! Thank you spurshot!

  5. Ive always liked the pedal spacing horizontally on GMs. But I'm 6', 240 lbs, power lifters build, with size 14 boots. So I kinda need the extra space. Never really paid attention to the difference in height though. I would try what the one guy said Lower your pedals as low as possible Then disconnect the power wire to the brake pedal adjuster. Then use your pedal adjustment switch to raise your pedals, but it will only raise your gas pedal.
  6. I would black out your front and rear GMC emblems, and I would either black out our remove your All Terrain Badges and your sierra on the rear. I plasti dipped mine black. Tint your Windows too
  7. I contacted Toyo directly when I purchased my Toyo Open Country M/T's (275/65/20 E rated, max 80 psi) about what tire pressure to run. They inquired what vehicle I drove, stock wheels and tire size, and manufactured suggested air pressure foot stock tires. They said that they recommend 48 psi and that's what O run. No problems in 1000 miles so far

  9. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/173943-25-rc-level-with-toyo-open-country-mts/page-1 Not 33 x 12.5. But running 34's with no problems
  10. Toyo Open Country MT's 275/65/20's on stock 20" GMC All Terrain wheels Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. 275/65/20's. = 34" tires
  12. Ordered directly from roughcountry.com It's the 2.5" kit, which is 2" block under the shock and a 1/2" spacer on top. Then it comes with a 2" block for rear to replace the 1" blocks. It still has some rake, but not as bad as stock
  13. Top is leveled with RC 2.5"with toyo MTs, bottom is stock. If you take care of your vehicle, you will be fine. Who cares if you need to replace ball joints in 100k miles, that's part if maintenance Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. When My truck was in auto 4wd, my truck was always in 4hi. Someone called me stupid I this forum for saying that. But my truck was in 4wd while in Auto. There w was no 2wd while in Auto. I'm thinking that people don't realize that while in Auto 4wd, their transfer case is leaving 4hi engaged and they are traveling faster than you should while in 4hi, thus doing damage. Im fine leaving it I 2wd and switching to 4hi when needed. But plan on mentioning it when I go I for service
  15. How many cans of plasti dip did it take to do your running boards? And how much did it cost to get your handles and mirrors color matched??? My local body shop quoted me $277 to do my handles and body molding pieces
  16. Installed a Gator FX3 tonneau cover
  17. I installed a Gator FX3 today. $740 from tonneaucoversworld
  18. If there is any leak in the vacuum, it will throw that code. Did you leave your gas cap off or loose? Did you get fuel while your truck is running? Any of these can throw that code. You can crawl under your truck and visually look at the components. There is a vent hose that goes from your fuel door to the evap emission canister, well at least one of them. Then you can follow the other hose to the front of the truck for the control valve. Not hard to replace, I had to replace all of them on my '05. Just time consuming If it's a small leak, you can reset the cel and it won't come back on for a few weeks. It won't hurt your motor at all, worse thing that will happen is that you will let some vapor in the air
  19. Did you black out part of your all terrain badges? I like the color match body molding, door handles, and mirror caps..... On my list of to do's
  20. Yeah, I'm wondering too.... Did you paint? Professionally done? How many coats of clear coat did you go? How much did it cost? The paint on these trucks suck, I'm sure I'm going to need a paint job soon
  21. The less positive offset (closer to zero), the more you will get your your away from your upper control arm, so less rubbing there. The rubbing from the taller tire will be around your inner fender. Most people can zip tie them back or trim them and be fine
  22. Stock All Terrain Wheels are 20x9 with a +27 offset with 275/55/20's tires. Your new set up isn't wider, but 2" taller. But if it were me, I would go with the +1 offset on the new wheels. It will push your tires out some, almost making your truck 2" wider. (You would be pushing your wheels outward 26mm, which is close to over inch, but over inch for each wheel)
  23. Why would you want to run your fuel that low to begin with..... Just put some in when you get to 1/4. With fuel prices so low now, I put in $30 every time I get to 1/4 and that almost fills it bank up. Why worry about running out when you have no reason to. Put some fuel in your truck
