  1. What did you do for kids entertainment? I'm wanting to do a large flip down dvd player for the kids.
  2. This does work. Discovered this on a road trip. Heard that if you have the "High Idle Switch" option that it may solve the issue as well. Can't confirm this yet.
  3. I noticed that too. But, looking closer I believe thatr has green colored plastic there. I wish that the outlet automatically came on like on prior year units.
  4. So the new high country grill comes with camera and harness already installed? May explain a little of bit of the high cost of it. Looks good though. I want to do this swap too, some day...
  5. I have the keypad I have the keypad on the outside on the pillar that is a GM option. I wonder if that would allow you in still. Or if the OnStar app will unlock it.
  6. In neutral definitely does work. I discovered this after the 3rd shutdown. Would be nice if the reflash does work.
  7. So taking a road trip and figured I'd stop at rest stop and take a rest. Figured I'd leave truck running while taking snooze. After approximately 1 hour ( not sure exactly as I was sleeping) truck shuts off by itself. I was inside sleeping, key was in my pocket, all exterior lights were off, and doors locked. Woke up because my cpap shut off. I realized truck shut off, so I thought maybe because key was in my pocket. Thought maybe it was because I didn't put the key fob in the little square hole in the console for relearning transmitters. So I put key in the relearn cubby, and start truck and go back to bed. Once again, approximately 1 hour later truck shuts off again. Kinda annoying. Good thing its not super cold out, otherwise probably freeze to death. Just need truck to stay running so I can use my cpap machine and stay warm. Any thoughts? Truck is a 2020 3500 Duramax LTZ, push button start.
  8. Does the trailer have LED lights? I read in another topic that sometimes there isn't enough load on the lights to sense the trailer. There is an adapter that one can purchase on Amazon. It plugs into the 7 way plus and then you plug your 7 way trailer into it. Puts electrical load on truck to see it there. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C4AYR3U?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title On the plus side, you can run just the adapter without a trailer and when you turn on signals, if you have the 360 cameras- the truck will switch and display that side of truck's blind spot in the radio.
  9. Is there such think as Non commercial plates, that can be registered over 10000 lbs gvw? Here in MN, you can register truck to 12000 and have plates that state non commercial on them. It does state on the plate in fine print that if used in a commercial capacity that there maybe fines and may require display of DOT numbers.
  10. I think that there should be an option for Z71 off road and protection package. I thought it brought all the Z71 stuff, and the all weather floor mats and spray in liner.
  11. Did your grill come in yet? There is a "trim" filler piece that looks like it would be required as well I think. Part # 84678988, part #6 in diagram. I would it would assume it would need to be painted to match. I really wish they would have offered HC grill as a option by itself.
  12. did you have to cut the hole? Or was the switch mounted and you had to run the wires?
  13. I'm in the same boat. Coming from 2015 NHT 1500. I ending up with a 3500 Duramax- for the same reason. Want to be able to whatever I want (pretty much) without concern. And I feel I got a stellar deal on a LTZ Duramax, although I really wanted the HC front end.
  14. I don't believe so, the high country grill goes from headlight to headlight. Where the LTZ grill goes from grill to a filler trim piece then headlight.
  15. That is a picture that a friend sent me. He works at a Chevrolet dealer. I haven't been able to find any pictures on the internet at all.
  16. The grill is 84691991 $982.56 The upper fascia (#6) 84678988 is $503.70 These prices are supposed to be wholesale prices that a buddy that works in parts can get them for me for. But a google search does show online dealers that could possibly get from cheaper.
  17. Looks like you have to swap out the fender corners, as well. That piece wraps under the grill assembly. Not sure if they are sold together or not.
  18. So then you have a 2" block on the rear now then? You got any pic's? I've been thinking about doing this, 2" in front, and a 2" block in the rear. I have a 15' CCSB 5.3 NHT
  19. I am new newer this forum. Been reading several of these catch can topics. I just had a few questions. Looking at mjj's picture up above in post #604, I had a question. Not knowing how the intake is plumbed, I noticed that both valve covers have a hose that run to the air intake "wing" apparatus? Is that air that is being pulled out of motor to be reburned, or pushed into the motor? I was going to attach an edited picture, but have yet to figure that out.
