  1. It's been an issue since my first new truck in 07. ON that truck I stripped much of the frame and painted it. I had a lapse in judgement and bought a 2012 F150 and besides a few issues that frame was hard coated and amazing compared. I, too wish they would just hard coat the frame and be done.... Just installed my trans dipstick and my hands were covered in that danged wax coating.... I can't stand it.
  2. Ruffle some feathers here but... Superduty cab and interior, Deleted Duramax, allison trans, and a solid axle with about a 4" lift on 38's.
  3. Hey folks, Just got my 6.6 gasser GMC home and ordered the regular stuff (mats, tonneau, new ceramic coating, center console organizer, etc) and I am moving the mods from my 2015 1/2 ton over such as sub/amp and my catch can. That being said, has anyone hooked up a catch can to their 6.6 L8T? I have the moroso can, but literally haven't opened the hood for more than 3 min. Does anyone have a diagram of the pcv lines on the new 6.6? Any pictures of installs? Thanks in advance, Jay
  4. dealt with this on my 2012 fx4 ECOPOOP. My daughter was in her carseat at the time as well.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I can wait as I just picked up a set of oem ltz lights for $200 and it's waaaay too cold to install aka I dont want to start the heater and have to pull them back out again to swap to what i feel is a more reliable setup *LED over HID.
  6. I don't see this listed on your site. I emailed about having to take the lense off for the FX-r last week and was set on that until I found this post on the forum. Am I not looking in the correct spot on your website?
  7. 2015 Lt, in search for black mesh for grille. Will swap if wanted (I have the chrome). Would just swap mesh, not entire assembly. please pm
  8. didn't read the whole thread, but I bought a Chinese special $20 tool and it works for me.
  9. Awesome, thanks for the info. So 3 kits for that? The kit Im going to buy is 2 gallons.
  10. ive done waaaay too much research on it as well. The consensus thus far is to steer clear of water based and use the rustoleum "professional" floor kit. I will be buying it this week for my new house. If that works out in the 2.5 car garage, i'll end up doing the 30x40 concrete floor in the pole barn as well. Please LMK if you find anything else out about epoxy as my brain is now mush. AS you know, prep is key. degrease, scrub, powerwash, etch. good luck
  11. LOL. I did this yesterday as my wife took my truck to take my son to Tae Kwon Do! I was putting my foglights in during dinner and then she wanted her snow tires off and summer rims and tires on her car.
  12. remove the black cover above pass side footwell, then just remove the blower with a few screws and a plug. simple
  13. Yes. You have a piece of debris in the blower. I have large hands and my compressor didn't work, so I took the blower out and one tiny piece of leaf had fallen into the blower. I wish there was a relief cut above the filter so when it is removed it doesn't "Scrape" the leaves and other debris off and down into the blower housing. The black cover isn't fun to remove and one screw couldn't be reinstalled as the angle is jsut too sharp to get the screw back in with a driver on it, it resides in my glove box..... This last time I changed it, I again had a leaf fall into the blower, but lucky for me my air compressor got it out. Crap design if you ask me.....
