It's in a sealed box I built that sits behind the center console and in front of middle rear seat. Feeding it 1200 watts rms, sounds pretty good! I plan on removing front jump seat and building a ported center console box and putting the fold down console/cup holders back on top of box.
Must resist.....looking at adding a 3" mid to my setup, but would also need another amp and DSP. Planning a 3 way active plus sub sometime next year.(running 2 way now) Just bought a JL W6v3 12 I don't really need, have a Ssa Icon 12 in the truck now that sounds great. I guess we'll see which one sounds better.
My buddies new F-150 blows air front and rear better then my Sierra. I live in south Louisiana, it's hot in the summer, my kids ask why there are no vents in the back. So do I...
It's a useful mod for people who like to mount amps to the back wall. Out of the way, yet can still fold the seat back down to adjust easily. That's what I'm doing it for, my amps are under the seat now, kinda in the way.
Yep, whatever size spindle ya get, you'll get that much more lift. Keeps your stock geometry too. Maxtrac sells a 3" and 4.5". If you plan on off-roading much, I'd look into some CST spindles, much beefier than Maxtrac. You do have a 2 wheel drive?
