  1. Finally got new tires today.
  2. Top line item on my receipt shows retainer work for the seat issue.
  3. Well, That's disturbing on the two different answers we are getting. Someone at Bilstein will be hearing from me again Monday to verify your findings. Not real thrilled if it turns out it does matter direction when they flat out told me on the phone it didn't and they install them with boot up on their test vehicles. Still love the ride though. I'll post as soon as I talk to someone. Thanks Silverado990 for the feedback. [emoji106]
  4. Same thing here. Just had it done and am not noticing it moving anymore. Will post the deal work shortly.

Where in the area did you get your Toyo's at? looks like 295/60/20s? Thanks!
  6. My opinion only.... I have ran both....... The Bilstein's ride way better than the lower spacer kit I had on stock struts. Just depends on what you want really. 2" kits are around $65 from RC, I believe. (Installs in 2 hours for the novice). However, 5100 Bilstein adjustables are anywhere from $105 - $130 ea. + costs to install on stock spring. (Installation we'll say 3-4 hours counting taking the struts to a shop to have them swapped out). Either way you'll also have to pay for an alignment as any level will knock toe out of wack. Bilstein's say 1.88" at top level, but I got over 2" with them. No need for spacer with them if you just want 2". Others may have a different experience than mine though. I just thought the spacer rode rougher as time went on. Hope that helps.
  7. Speaking of that, jsouth..... And to answer your questions, zback... I had the 2.5" RC kit on my truck for about 15k miles. No issues and the lift was exactly what I wanted. Over time though, the ride got rougher. Pretty damn jarring over a good bump or RR tracks (I'm sure the stock Wrangler SR-As don't help either as they are garbage). Did a little research and thought I'd save a little $$$ by just replacing my rear shocks with the Bilstein 5100s to help. (I have the rear block form the kit installed as well). I couldn't believe the difference in ride just by changing the rears. Drove to work the next day, got online, and immediately ordered the 5100 front adjustables. I just put them on, on the highest setting, last weekend. Basically removed the front lower strut spacer and left the 3/8" upper spacer from the RC kit on top of the Bilsteins. Gave me right at 2.6". The ride is incredible... Feels like a Cadillac. Very responsive and smooth, yet stiff and soaks up the bumps so nicely. If that makes sense. Here's a few pics of how they look. Tires this weekend!

    14 High Country

  9. Thanks! Yup I love the ride. It's like a brand new truck. Got new Toyo's ordered today. Dealer tried talking me into rims as well but still thinking on it.
  10. I actually talked to bilstein about that because I was curious too with no install directions in the box. They told me it did not matter with these shocks. They can be installed either way and 90% of installs they do in their test vehicles have the boots up. Their customer service was very helpful. I may have to readdress with my dealer if that's the case though.
  11. Easily a good 1.25" to 1.5". Plenty of space. I don't off-road so plenty of articulation left there at the base of the UCA.
  12. I put the bilstein 5100s on the rear of my 14 High Country with a new 2" block a few weeks ago. Ride is unbelievable compared to stock. Liked it so much I got the adjustable 5100s for my front, removed the lower block of my 2.5" RC level , and installed these at highest settings with the top spacer from the RC kit. Ride is incredible. Ride is ridiculously smooth and soaks up bumps great. Highly recommend the 5100s. Best investment I ever made. New shoes this week.
  13. Nice! Any rubbing issues with your graps and whats the offset on your mavericks?
  14. 2014 High Country Volant CAI, Corsa Sport, Bakflip F1, matched bowties, Weathertechs, RC 2" level (needs more aggressive tire though, looking currently)
  15. Nothing special. High Country....Volant CAI, Corsa Sport, RC level, color match bowties, needs different tires. Looking at Toyo AT 2 XTs probably 295/55/20. Any advice or experiences?
