  1. To test and see if there is a sub, put the fader all the way to the rear and you will hear the sub cut off, then go one "click" to the front and you will hear it kick in. I have mine tuned with the treble all the way up, the mods one click off center and the sub three clicks from all the way up and it freaking rocks!
  2. Funny....We just got back yesterday from Buena Vista, CO! I'm getting ready to make a new post with a grade card and a MAJOR concern.
  3. I just stumbled across this thread....I run 93 octane, I paid $2.68 the other day. Like what has been mentioned a few times, with 11:1 compression, detonation is an engine killer, so you need a slower burning fuel (higher octane). The goal to reach maximum efficiency in an internal combustion is to have a "flame front" that burns at around 100fps...Think of it as a controlled burn, rather than an explosion.
  4. I just completed the install. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. My install took 1hr 20min, a bit longer than most on here it seems, but the aircraft mechanic comes out in me whenever wiring is involved. It went extremely smooth and I chose to solder my wires to the factory harness. The only hiccup, if you want to call it that is that the lock did not want to unlock with the FOB. I attributed it to the truck being new and the parts just not "worn in" on the whole mechanism. A quick shot of ACF-50 cured that. Thanks again everyone!
  5. Thanks for the heads up MotoMedic, I ordered it today!
  6. I went to the local truck accessory shop today and had a good discussion with the owner. Apparently, Undercover is slowly buying the competition....Gator, Extang and Bak have all been bought out by Undercover.
  7. I have a question for the owners of the fold up hard covers. When it is folded up, are there rubber bumpers to keep it from scratching the cab before you get the support rods fastened? Thanks!
  8. I'm in love with the brown interior.....It seems a bit softer than the normal leather and it probably draws the most comments from those who see the truck for the first time.
