  1. That has been my question too, but like everything else here, you have thousands of different opinions.
  2. I will first start with, I am giving you a bad time! Glad you recognized the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem (Toyota), welcome to the GM family!!! Great looking truck!!
  3. Great looking truck! I have had a few beers tonight, but that is strange looking picture.....
  4. That is what I thought they did on the TSB, but everyone on here is saying that you can not do a flush on the 8 speed. Did they let you know what they were going to do before hand? How is it working now?
  5. That part of life is not will not change anytime soon, but I did have McDonalds today, and went to the grocery store, but I was getting paid for the holiday. As luck would have, my job is considered essential, only time I have missed so far is when I had a really bad cold a couple of weeks ago. I did see last night that the race card is on it's way to the forefront, this will only get uglier before it gets any better.
  6. Well, with that attitude, I am sure something bad will happen.... We have a tsunami plan in Washington if you would like to borrow it.
  7. Have today off for Good Friday, will start the “refreshments” around 6:00 pm PST tonight. Feeling good, getting paid to do yard work and wash my truck, things could be a lot worse.
  8. Thinking if he has enough of the aquarium cleaner in his system and hits water, he should be ok???
  9. Mr. Miller and his High Life is directing the ship tonight, so we are heading straight for the rocks, figure if I have enough alcohol in my system, can't catch much of anything. Had a chance to listen the Hip channel?
  10. A "cold natured Chevy", never have heard of one of those before..... I think the big fuel gauge was made like that to make you think you were getting better MPG than you actually were, it had to travel a great distance from full to empty.
  11. I think he will be remembered for being a "steaming pile of S###", not sure how he could ever be considered an essential employee????
  12. It has given him time to reflect on things, and get reconnected with the voices in his head....
  13. If they paid me to eat an onion, which I hate more than any food, I would and say it cured me, might do it for a lifetime supply of Miller High Life. I prefer a drug that causes an oily discharge, incontrollable diarrhea, cotton mouth, and a fear of crowds, which would be perfect with Covid -19. You both have good points, but at this point, not many winners no matter how you look at it. Only time, and hopefully some honest facts from the powers that be will help us get to the next step in our lives.
  14. I am missing sports, never realized how bad normal TV has gotten. I was so excited to see racing, any kind, but especially NASCAR, always means spring is close. Yes, I know very trivial in the state the world is in right now, but I would watch anything with out fans being present.
  15. Welcome to the site. Congratulations on your new truck, great looking rig!!!
  16. Your new battery might be bad, I would get it checked out to be safe. This is the usual warning that shows up after you change, or the battery is going bad.
  17. Completely agree with the lives statement, lion share of Americans are not the one who make the decision to import all of the crap from China, decisions like that are and always will be made by people in a much greater pay scale than mine, I vote, complain about their products, and try to buy and support American companies as much I can. Along the way here, I forgot to thank you for your service to our country so we have the freedom to have interactions and share our beliefs like this. Thank you very much!
  18. Agree with your point. My point is, we are not very clean as a society, lots of dirty habits, poor hygiene, all factors as why there are so many just general flu cases and colds each year. Understand this is something most of us probably thought that we would never see in our lifetimes. And I do completely agree, China as a society needs to look in the mirror as humans, and ask the question, why do we continue to do things, materials made knowing they are toxic, the "food" we eat that actually kills us, and make some serious changes. But they won't being a communistic country. If their own lives mean nothing to them as a society, why would anyone else's?
  19. I deal with truck drivers of all kinds, we have shut the building off to anyone who does not work here, especially the bathrooms. This has ended with the drivers being upset, so for their revenge they now do their business in the parking lot on our equipment and anywhere they think they won't be seen, talking number 1 and 2. I was sick a couple of weeks ago, for a little over two weeks, did a virtual chat that was the equivalent of pissing in the wind, and then a video conference with my normal doctor, which lead to some prescription drugs that god rid of most of the symptoms. Not even being able to see a doctor in person was pretty strange, understand what the goal is, but I agree with you, did you have it, did I have it, how do we even find out when you are not allowed in a physicians office?
  20. Been doing that for years, I know we all have horror/funny stories being the race track, games of all sorts, concerts, you name it. Remember being at a Mariners game in the Kingdome, Toronto was in town, so all of the "drunken" Canadian's came down from Vancouver BC. One had a "little" much to drink and shat his pants, and I mean really cut loose, when I went into the bathroom, a bunch of kids were making fun of him. Went back a few innings later, pants laying on the floor, poop everywhere, do not even think they cleaned it up till after the game, pretty much the norm for a lot of events (concerts), and every one is surprised at how quickly something like this spreads, we should be surprised that it has not happened sooner.
  21. Personally, I think the spread is happening with "essential employees" like myself. The state of Washington had 14 pages of essential jobs, I do not think mine is at all, but I am at work receiving a paycheck. Just heard there are 1500 infected health care workers in Michigan alone, over the road (long haul) truck drivers are still traveling from state to state, outside activity has slowed down, but nowhere near what it should have been. As soon as we let the sheltered people out, what will stop them from being affected and it all starting again, that is a great question, hope someone in charge is looking that far ahead.
  22. What type of service did they do? A flush, or did they drop the pan and drain it that way?
  23. You may have the dreaded Chevy shake. Go to the top right of the page, and type in "chevy shake", tons of posts about the issue.
  24. Where is the mileage at on the truck? If it is the 60000 range, I would say torque convertor, test you can do is a find a slight incline, get up to 45 MPH and keep it there, if is the torque convertor, you will feel a vibration like you are running over "rumble strips".
