  1. That is a really nice looking truck! Good choice! Is that a dealer installed lift package?
  2. Like it or not, kind of a necessary evil to save life's Agree with the playoff's and the stage crap 100 percent, don't need, nor do I like it, makes it way to confusing even for veteran fans.
  3. Perception goes a long way in life, you see words, and you perceive them to a meaning that makes you comfortable. Some are religious, some are not, some are innocent, some are not, but it seems the one with the most to say can not always be trusted. IMO the "book" was written by a man, like lots of others, my feelings, you can share yours, but I know how I perceive things in life, not trying to upset you, but just my feelings....
  4. Since we have now brought Religion into play, I will bring in the Alice in Chains lyric that I think is quite fitting: Time to change has come and gone Watched your fears become your God It's your decision
  5. Welcome to the site. Thinking you might have damaged your BCM, or ECU, the electronics are very finicky in the new trucks. You can destroy either one by not doing the proper steps while jump starting another car.
  6. I agree completely with your statement. And yours is a good reply, giving options, which he asked for, and personal opinions on what is readily available and works well for you. The reason we have so many one post and done, is everyone attacks them like they are idiots, and what they say is the law of the land, that is where my comment came from, kind of a defense of the OP. Which, I do not think has replied back, can't really blame him with reception he received.
  7. Welcome to the site. He will see now that you were asking him a question.
  8. So, are you saying they were wearing pissy pants, or are wearing them now? Got a little lost on that one.
  9. I am really glad now I declined that update on my computer, hindsight being 20/20....
  10. Oh yea, bunch of stuff for a penny, then one item the rest of your life each month at normal price, with a $35.00 S&H fee. What a great deal, always heard they were generic pressings, not as good sound quality, never could tell the difference.
  11. My 18 has one too, have it used it few times. Use my iPod for long trips, never have tried any other media.
  12. No turntable in the Avalanche?
  13. To take this thread way off course, love vinyl. Started my collection in my 20's back in eighties, and now adding to it in my 50's with the awesome 180 gram pressings!!!
  14. That is actually a really good reply to his question. Not sure he was asking for alternate solutions with different types of media or personal preferences or which decade he should live.
  15. Looks like the replies you are going to get will be more useless than the one from the manufacture and dealers......
  16. If possible, check the records of the truck. There was a problem in the 14 and 15's having radiators that would crack at the top edges, bad AC condensers were also a problem. Maybe take it somewhere and have a pressure test done on the cooling system, looking for leaks. I guess it is always possible your thermostat could be the problem too. That was one of the main issues with the cracking radiators, it built too much pressure in the cooling system.
  17. Well, it was May 5th (Cinco De Mayo) when it happened, probably got a good deal on the beer.....
  18. Can you post some pics of it open on the 2500, curious on what the latch mechanism looks like. Maybe we can help the OP with what might have failed.
  19. That would make a lot of sense why it won't open ????
  20. Have you had and CEL's? Did you change the coolant recently? Do you have a scanner, or an auto parts store close by to do a real time scan to see where the water temp is at while running?
  21. Welcome to the site. Can you share any more info about your truck? Make, model, year, miles, engine, history, are you the original owner?
