  1. Wait so your's flickers too? Payton34 has 6.2 and you have a 6.2. Hmmmmm It will happen, just hang in there.
  2. Same here. Haven't driven my truck since thurs afternoon and no flicker. It's been a year or close to it and no issues. His is only one side also. Passenger side is fine.
  3. The whole DRL cuts off. This is why we've been trying to achieve it. This sounds like interference but from how and where is anyone's guess.
  4. The DRL will pulse like that? Or you talking about the LED low beam. I know the low beams need the cap but his DRL is flickering not headlamp.
  5. On the 14-15 its pin E and H. Both are just Park lamp supple voltage. Like I mentioned tho leaving it out makes no difference as long as one of them is used. I tested both ways on my repin of my truck and nothing changed. I just add them mostly out of habit and you never know what kind of scenario you may run across if I left it out. Actually had a guy using that wire for something to do with a snowplow.
  6. On the 16-17 X110 Light duty pin out GM has it listed as a vt/gy wire. In all of my harnesses I use it. The only one I dont use is the bulb outage signal wire.
  7. Yeah thats correct. Returned the headlight and received a new one. Even the passenger light that works flickers once you put if on the drivers side. I'm not actually in front of it so not much help. by Payton34, Yesterday, 03:14 PM. Anyone familiar with wiring and grounds? Today I disconnected both grounds attached to the frame under each headlight cleaned the rust and wax coating off. When I reattached the grounds There was a spark on the passenger sode as I touched the ground to the frame but driver side didn't spark. Would this be an indication the ground wire is bad on driver side?
  8. He's already swapped the lights with new ones as we thought the light itself may be bad. Thats me, with all the sets sent out not one DRL flicker. Even his passenger side doesn't flicker. I has to be something in the wiring I would assume.
  9. Behind the front bumper on the frame. I had him check those and all is well.
  10. Alright we have a strange on here. A few pages back Payton34 mentioned his drivers side DRL would flicker while using the turn signal. I got in contact with him and after looking around found a lose ground wire on my harness. I sent him a new on that day and he installed it and the DRL still flickers when the turn signal is applied but seems to function properly once the truck is warmed up or the parking lights are on. So here we are 2 different headlights, 3 harnesses and the same issue. The last adapter I sent I installed on my buddies truck before sending just to verify no issues so I know we know it works. This seems to be a truck voltage/ground issue. Anyone have any clue as to what would cause this? He's already checked the grounds behind the front bumper and they are fine. The passenger side works as advertised so Im at a loss here. Also including his thread below: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/199987-led-drl-flickers-when-using-turn-signal/ Edit: Another thing to note. It seems to be intermittent. This morning for example it never flickered it all. This afternoon or at lunch it may start again.
  11. Yeah I noticed the same. I'll keep an eye out for ya.
  12. Off topic, Any progress on DRL shutoff?
  13. TRS10 will get you 10%. There was another code I need to find off the Tacoma forums that was 15% or 20%, I cant remember now.
  14. Look up plainansimple1 on instagram or google. He's done a few sets
  15. Everything but the DRL shutoff with turn signal and the intelibeam feature which is useless anyways. Tail light is the same as the headlights, Just converting the 14-15 plugs to the 16-17 plug without cutting/repining.
  16. Yep tails are done. I will have to wait a bit before I purchase but if anyone does want to buy them you can use TRS10 for $20 off.
  17. The more I see these the more I want them.
  18. Took you long enough haha... Looks fantastic!!!!!!!!
  19. Pay no never mind to the two resistors as this is only temporary until I get my 3ohms. I mounted the resistors under the truck/below the taillight as it was the easiest place to drill. Feel free to mount them where you like. Once I get my new ones they will both be mounted in the same spot because I'm lazy and dont want to let the spare down to fish the wires.
  20. I have a few sets made and ready if anyone wanting to swap their lights.
  21. I fixed it. The 3ohm resistor did the trick. Ordering 3ohms for the tails now. The other option is to run two 6 ohm resistors.
  22. I got the tails finished up last night but now sorting out some hyperflash issues. Hopefully resolved in the next couple hrs. For some reason the tails dont like 6ohm resistors.
  23. Headlight harnesses ready to ship. I PM'd a few of you that reached out to me already. Working on the tails now. Should be ready to ship tonight or tomorrow.
