I need some advice. I want to see what others thoughts are on this. This week I am probably going to order the TRS package for my 2015 GMC SLT. It would me the Morimoto HIDs (35 watt 4500k) with the XB LED fog light replacements. But before I do, what are your thoughts on the XBs being to bright? I like to run my fog lights during the morning and late evenings but want it to look good not to bright. Should I just order the VLEDs for fogs and Morimoto HIDs for the headlights or order the whole package, being the TRS setup.

any ideas? Should I not replace the turn signals or brake light with leds

Alright guys. I am ticked and need some help. I replaced my back up lights (all of them) with 921 LEDs. They weren't cheap. $20 a pair. I ordered 6 more to replace the brake lights and blinker lights. I did not realize that a 921 and a 921 LL was different. Is this right. At the beginning of this thread says GMC 921LL are turn signals and brakes. I guess my question is, is there a difference between these 2 or did I order the wrong bulb

I know people will ball BS but I was getting 18-21 mpg stock with just a level. Now I have 22" wheels and 35" Toyo MTs. Of course it went down tremidously-12-13MPG. I have t had it done long but the last fill up with 91 and tuned with my Diablo I was at 19 mpg.

Factory GMC 22s with 35" Open Country MTs. I lucked up and found the 22s from a friend.

I have just over 5k on my truck and I have been to the dealership over and opened a case with GM (that I have not had time to follow through with). I do not have the problem going down hill but I will tell you what I am experiencing. Maybe, its the same thing or at least try it out because if it is and you can replicate the noise if and when you decide to take it to the dealer. WHILE ACCELERATING (Above 25-30 and below 60) in whatever gear the truck is in RIGHT BEFORE it is going to shift I can let completely off the gas and when it downshift it makes a clunking sound. For example, while accelerating (normal acceleration or light acceleration) in town I let off the gas because the car in front of me is slowing down, stopping or whatever and I just have to let off the gas, it clunks downshifting. does not seen to do it in 1st or 2nd.

I have scanned through 114 pages of exhaust on here and got overwhelmed with all the different configurations and information. Can some one, that is happy with their set up help me out? I want to go with duals out the back, no drone, medium/deep rumble but not super loud. Just want her to sound good.

Thanks man. It came in today I will start learning how to use it tonight. On the 91/e85 tune what results did you see? is the "91/e85" referring to gas? Do you mess with turning off anything or any kind of shift points etc? I doubt I mess with any of these things but I am really trying to understand what the hype is about and how to benefit best from the device outside the reason I mainly bought it was to cal my speedo after I put a lift with bigger tires.

I have a t1000 diablo on the way. What do you guys think the best set up would be until I get it costumed tuned? I been looking around but am a little confused from reading all the info out there.

Are the 2014 and 2015 Sierra 1500 using the same bulds? I looked at the chart above at the beam High/Low Beams - HIR-2 (9012 LL) but most web sites do not list this part and I do not see a cross reference. What am i missing?

I have been looking all week into getting a 32" but the 40" like this looks way better. How much trimming did you have to do? any other install pic?

+1 it keep water out as good as any fold cover imo the caddy is awesome. i got it also... The only problem was i got mine through the dealer and they CAN NOT and WILL NOT (its not a part the dealer is offered by stephons) add the liding trey. I had to have it so i ordered one for a EXTRA $100 shipped. It was a PIA to install in the caddy. the caddy has to come out and the side has to come off and then the trey is installed with rivots. so if you are installing one new GO AHEAD AND GET THE SLIDING TREY. It will be cheaper and easier to install. I would do it over again no regrets...Get the tri-fold if you are not going to put the caddy.

This has not been covered from what I can find but I have a 2015 GMC 1500 SLT and both the 10 & 18 wire are brown. Both wires look to be different shades of brown maybe. I can't tell if they are different shade Browns or the same. But I took a chance and tried it and it worked. But I am concerned that I am wrong. But I looked, checked counted, looked, checked, counted etc. I even disconnected it made sure it went back to fogs turning off when high beams were on. Hooked it back up and the fogs came on with high beams. THOUGHTS??? I will go back and recheck what I know I have already varified. But I do know I am on the right ones. I will look for stripes on the brown ASAP. And post back. In the mean time if you hear do this from anyone else please,let me know. Thx john
