  1. I didn't see this mentioned but having dot rated fog cubes won't do anything if they're not mounted and aimed at fog level. Mounting them up high is not going to work out as you'll end up blinding someone. I would lose the tint as that's probably the best way to go.
  2. Save up, do the long travel kit first. The right way to do it is either all at once or aesthetics last.
  3. I suggest contacting rogue racing and asking for the specs on that truck. They would probably tell you everything. offset and backspacing and all that confuse me too much to help you out there but prerunners generally have a higher lift in the front than the rear.
  4. That just looks like bumper fender extensions, wheels and tires, shocks/lift. Are you looking for actual high speed off roading? Or just the appearance
  5. I didn't get that option. But I'm sure you could upgrade the one in the console.
  6. So, my alpine unit doesn't use the factory usb ports, and I am not happy with the half amp output they have. So I've upgraded the ports to 2 2.4amp ports and a quickcharge 3.0 port. Now I can charge from these usb ports like they were actually meant to be used. They are not functional as data ports. Only charge ports. Also I know, its really dusty.
  7. How much brighter are the cargo lights?
  8. What, you don't like the wing it method of drill thrice, measure never?
  9. What he did was place all 5 lights onto the grille and wire them together. Then you take the closest one to either side of the headlight, find the parking lamp wire and splice the positive into the parking lamps. Then you ground the other wire. I'm basing all this on the assumption that the lights are only positive and negative.
  10. Most of that money is in those rigids! Hah. They're good lights but the prices on them hurt my wallet so bad.
  11. I just installed some rigid SAE fogs and they don't do much. Not with my FXRs.
  12. Hah. When it surfaces is when I've run to lowes/home depot. Thats how I have 15 10mm sockets now. Only after your project is completed does your tool resurface.
  13. You underestimate my ability to somehow lose tools.
  14. My problem is that I'll end up losing the thing. Decisions decisions.
  15. Did my FXR retrofits in my knockoff LTZ headlights today. Also got a flowmaster 40 installed.
  16. @ChevyRoofer and @Waterfowler41 I'll be sending you your refund tonight WaterFowler so that you don't have to spend money on me shipping them to you unless you'd still like that. That is up to you. The bolts you're looking for are class 10.9 bolts. M12x1.75. 2x 110mm bolts 2x 50mm bolts 2x m12x1.75 nuts. You can find the bolts here. https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-hex-head-screws/=1a6s92v Either a 45 or 50 will work. Hell a 40mm will work as well. The 100 should work as well instead of a 110mm. Trying to thread the nut however seems like its some sort of locknut. It doesn't have any insert though but I would suggest you get a locknut and a washer or just the flanged nut and some threadlocker. Locknut here https://www.mcmaster.com/#hex-locknuts/=1a6sa3x The flanged locknuts are available here. https://www.mcmaster.com/#hex-locknuts/=1a6sar4 All of these look like they want you to buy quite a few to get the couple you need. Of course you can always source these from your local hardware store although I couldn't find any class 10 flanged locknuts at my Lowes.
  17. Got my fox 2.0s installed. Quite a lot better than the ranchos in comfort.
  18. I am. Its fine I don't think I'll need more than the 2.0s anyway. Chalk it up to me getting buyers remorse. I get it for most things I buy haha.
  19. Damn. I already ordered the 2.0s from you. Id be willing to wait but I don't know how the refund process goes
  20. I'm sorry, but at 500 bucks for a set of tow hooks, that is insane. You can get the red ones from GM for 100 bucks or the black for 50. That price is way too rich for my blood.
  21. Bumper removal is pretty easy. At least on the silverado. Pull the bolts for the rear support bars on each side. Two 15mm bolts accessible on each side from the center with the grille off. Bumper will just be picked up. It weighs like 100 lbs ish.
  22. I have finally fixed the front end of my truck. Needed a new grille, air baffle, and bumper. I went with a aftermarket bumper cause oem is too expensive. Night pictures make it look odd though. I was able to salvage quite a bit of this. If anyone needs any frame rail bumper brackets I have two brand new that have been bolted on and bolted off as it turned out I didn't need them.
  23. Wish I knew about that one. I have a tekonsha p3 coming tomorrow. I'm just gonna shove it into that slot.
  24. I suggest you email @GTPprix here http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1%3Asales&catid=12%3Acontacts&Itemid=56. He only accepts emails on the weekends between those times. You'll have to search ebay for gauge clusters that will work. I think on the 16s you have quite a few options, from denali sierras, yukons, tahoes, and possibly suburbans. Theres a thread on it here as well about swapping a denali cluster into our trucks.
