  1. You don't really need a check valve on a normally aspirated engine. When the engine is running, there will always be vacuum drawing the vapors from the crankcase.
  2. Sometimes after alignments they dont have the wheel centered. In that case I climb under the front end and tweak the tie rod adjustment (equally) and get the wheel centered. My adjustments may not be to the tenth of a degree, but Ive had no adverse effects from doing so. Steering, tires all good.
  3. Ive got the 6.2L. I bought a new PCV hose from the dealer and carefully cut the ends off and used those ends with this hose and clamps. Works like a charm. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/102011/10002/-1 http://www.jegs.com/i/Vibrant-Performance/231/12276/10002/-1
  4. Don't think the conversion will work for the 16/17 Chevy's. Grilles and hoods are entirely different. GMC's work because they are ALMOST identical.
  5. Swapped out the 17 LTZ grille for a High Country one. Cleaner looking and easier to clean.
  6. Everyone has their own preference for parts but I prefer the Mc G shackles over the Belltech. Mc G actually gives you a 1 or 2 inch drop while the Belltech gives 3/4 or 2 inch drop. Just all depends on what you're going for.
  7. With the 16's and 17's, there would only be 4 lights on at any one time with the fogs, whether it be low or high. But I know what you're trying to ask.
  8. I had a shudder in the truck when under a slight load (slight uphill), and the RPM's would fluctuate at that time. The dealer replaced the torque converter and fluid. No more shudder and it drives smooth.
  9. The PIP bulletin does not apply to the 5.3L. There is a different bulletin for that engine.
  10. Just got the truck back from having the torque converter, transmission fluid and filter replaced. No more shudder while driving on the highway. Nice and smooth now. They performed the service per GM Bulletin PIP5337 even though I have a 2017 and the bulletin covers 2010-2016 MY.
  11. Yeah. But you have to spend another 2 seconds to put it back on. Geeze, a whole 4 secs of my life wasted each and every time I have to stop for fuel. Wait, isn't there an app for that? I had the capless fill on my Raptor. Never had a problem with it. But it did have a seal around the flap door to prevent water from entering the space. I have it now on my 17, Hope there wont be any problems in the future.
  12. Dont think you can drive it as a FWD. The slip yoke on the driveshaft fits into a seal to prevent fluid from spilling out the transfer case. You might end up with a mess.
  13. Just returned from the dealer for "a" vibration issue. The tech and I went for a drive so I could show him exactly when it does it. When we were driving, he discounted any rolling items just on how the vibration came and went (I would of been disappointed in his diagnosis if he had said it was the tires) and thought it could be a software issue with the transmission. After we got back to service he worked on it a bit, then when for a 10 min test drive with another tech. They did this twice. They are going to replace the torque converter when the parts show up. Then we'll see if that fixes it.
