Just bought my 2019 GMC Sierra SLE. Lease was coming due, and I only had 17200 miles on the truck. Could not find a lease close to what I had (238 a month). Plus, the buy-out was 8000.00 cheaper than a comparable 2019 GMC. So, I bought it outright. It should last me a long time.

I can attest to the 2.7. It is much better than the v-6 I had in my silverado. And better mileage. Never go back to a 6 or an 8.

So 2 weeks ago my check engine light comes on. When shutting the truck off I can hear the cooling screaming as they are slowing down. I pulled the codes and it mentioned something about the shutters behind the grill. Take it in the dealer today and they have to order the parts to fix it. Apparently this is something common with the Sierra. Anybody else have issues with this. 2019 2.7 Sierra.

When driving my 2019 Sierra and want to make a call, I hit the phone icon on the steering wheel. Have been doing this over a year. Today when I went to make a call the lady voice says I am offline now so I can not complete your task, but you can see maps, make a phone call or play music. I pulled over and dialed thru the phone keypad and it went thru as normal on the radio (infotainment system). Anybody have any info about this.

I have a 2019 GMC sierra 2.7. This morning after starting it up I put it in drive and took off down the road slowly. As I increased the speed up to about 20 mph (congested lake area) there was a loud noise as if the fan was blowing full speed. I shut off everything that would make noise as I slowly drove on. I pulled off to the side of the road and shut down the engine. I can only assume the blower for the turbo continued to run for awhile. I started the truck back up and it ran fine, but the engine light stayed on. When I got home I started it up a few times and the engine light stays on. Any ideas as to went wrong? Dealer is an hour away.

As for the mpg, I have 5000 on mine and am averaging 23.1. As for traction, it has plenty of power to spin the rear easily. Much more so than the 16 silverado I had with the 4.3.

It is easy to hide the antenna wire. I tucked it under the windshield trim, ran it in between the door and fender. Then slipped it in between a seam on the dash. I have the Siriusxm onx radio. It works fine by using the fm radio station. But I wanted to use Bluetooth. I bought their docking system. But I am not able to pair the system over Bluetooth. Anybody have any ideas? I also noticed I can not get android auto to show up on my display.

That is what I was thinking. It is totally different than the old sensor.

Have a question regarding the 2019 GMC sierra. In the center of the dash board, in front of the catchall is a square domed area (between the catchall and the windshield). It is about 1.5" square. What is it?

MDSilveradoGuy is it safe to assume if it wasn't for the wiring problem, you would have been satisfied with the Silverado with the 2.7l turbo?
