  1. no reason for human troops to be fresh anymore, you seem to think your needed,. the only human left on the battle field will be mechanics and he's on shaky ground too
  2. your gas gauge is empty
  3. efi Line might have better service, Black bear uses this for thiere software , so you should be able to update from the EFI live guys , you are dealing with an Austrailian company thats probably locked down under Tier 3/4 marshall law. nothing moves.! try HP tuners is local based made and supported in 'Merica!
  4. Well now after CV-19 i think they will become less of a tool and more employable and useful vs .the human employee, so much less to deal with. Automation is mostly manufactuering, but moving into the service sector is the big money and largest hit to humans. For years, here in LA we have to deal with Insurance and health care as employers, this is a huge cost.. the locals are always trying to file a claim by getting themselves injured on purpose and not following safety rules all the time. then there's, showing up under the influence or tired. , then the last straw ID theft of customers personal files or customers' CC's and Check hacking. the Pros vs cons for automation of basic laybor activities is growing stronger everyday towards robotics with cleanlyness and hygene improvements
  5. the human versions would make great soldiers for what ever war is coming next. they get in there, do the dirty nasty stuff that fills every soldiers head with PTSD. They dont talk about what they've done or write books about it 20 years after, They cant be tracked, easily dismantled/wiped used for repair parts for other units, can operate for days on end as long as there is a charger nearby and no trace back to an operation that was succesful or a failure. great for enforcing the next wave of marshall law in this country. too. the ultimate gov. servant. I think we all know what coming down the pipe line for us, it's in the back of every ones' mind. Elon Musk is waiting patiently on the sidelines to ship us off to Mars and have the place to himself.
  6. just drove 100 mile on the tune, and wow! no more clunking sounds in stop and go traffic and she pulls thru the revs better with the non locked converter in 1-4th
  7. OK being that the Shudder is caused by the TCC and another trans parameter like allowable slip rpm. I just completed a TCC disabled tune for my 6l80 via Richard Wardell YT vid, and man this was the main issue on these transmissions. i can say if GM is doing the same lock up patterns on the 8 speeds and 10 speeds. this will cure 80% of your problems. I am astounded at how much better the truck drives now!! with tcc is disabled 1-4th gear, my sudden braking to a complete stop has improved and the truck feels like more rear brake bias. i love it! there is less feeling of the engine pushing durring decel. GOOD Stuff. i recommend you guys void the warrantee and extend the durability with this mod
  8. i found the battery tech just isnt up to the job for towing 1. climate temp effects battery output, now you have to waste battery energy to cool or heat the cells so they are able to deliver power reliably. 2. as you travel the voltage drops, this limits peak power. you'll never have the same peak power as you did when first charged. 3. charging time is slow and cheap almost $.80/gal evuivalent to fuel., but fast charging is very exspensive on an EV. your better off towing your second battery to make range. in the end the power to weight is far superior with petrol/diesle, and the infrastructure is set up. leave it alone!
  9. you use 15 for the first row, I've seen others use 50 for the first row... I will give it a shot. what have you set the fans for on trans temp activation? tomorrow is disabling TCC, shut off 1-4th gears .
  10. Found some good reading here, lots of transmission tech info.. enjoy! https://gearsmagazine.com/magazine/get-in-line-a-machinists-look-at-the-6l80-6l90-pump-alignment/

  11. OK Torque App is a total POS, dont use this thing numbers dont jive
  12. $200 for a set of black sheep skins is much nicer IMO
  13. possibility OEM cats are designed to operate at very high temps and not get damaged. aftermarket cats use cheap materials that wont handle the heat most likely. there is a PID on these trucks that gives you the Cat temperature , find out what your temp is at.. I'll look up mine and see if its similar or not even close to a working system
  14. i left my flapper in, just locked it in the open position with 2 fender washers and a 2.5" long 1/4-20 screw. i found a thread on here that shows you how to do it years ago. i believe it was also a tsb update by GM tech to reduce truck fires caused by the flappers stuck closed
  15. what works for the silverado?
  16. i did a half dozen wot runs on the freeway today. truck is stock 5.3L stock tb. stock manifold.my air box is stock, but i removed the inner baffle at the fender connectio to the filter box, Air Aid Jr. resonator delete kit .. i was amaized at the numbers the little tb can flow thru the motor. i hit a peak of about 2100-2200 CFM at 85 mph in 5th gear, air temp 58 F , tow haul mode. doesn't this sound high to you guys for a 330hp engine? Just curious if any of yall get a chance to log your wot pulls on the Torque app for your 5.3 or 6.2 truck. would be interesting to see what you get
  17. Here's a harbinger and if not a game changer for the future of our children's economic, future employment and millitary status in America, if not the entire world.. i can see a lot of Blue collar jobs evaporating, meanwhile public schools have no answer to meet the coming job demands of the future., White collar will soon be replaced with Ai. Anyone else wondering, where are we going with all this?

  19. just curious but what kinda layout are you using for your desired ECT vs coolant temp? why do the numbers start so high on this table, there is no adjustments below 192F? update here..., found i need to upgrade to a 2 bar OS to get more adjustability https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?7621-LS2-Fan-Logic-or-lack-thereof&highlight=LS2 fans so all we got are 2 cells to adjust, 192 and 210. lol...
  20. my experience...anything built from Chrysler ,2004-present
  21. i will try 195. i also found it interesting there is a menu relating trans temp to fans , this might be good to play with for towing parameters
  22. ambient is 70-72 F
  23. ok I got my HPT up and running. stock settings, for fan operation is 210F across the cells on my 5.3 A6 truck. i have the 175 t-stat. so i'm guessing 190 for fan activation should be a good start.. what do the tuners on here think?
  24. my IAT's on the OEM fender CAI are logged from HPtuners and average 81-86 F fully warmed up summer weather
