its a nice package i have to admit vs a turbo setup. DO i require LT4 injectors at 450 hp or will the stock units be fine on 91 fuel? can i run the AFM cam and have it active during low engine loads?

or just do what all the Zo6 guys are doing ,dump the SC completely and go with a big turbo.... the reduced parasitic drag is probably worth 50Hp, I prefer good MPG so I don't see e85 on my radar.

yeah I think one would be better off with a Whipple considering LT4 conversion is $6000. E85 cost $2.50/gal in my town so not sure that's worth the upgrade. A set of Ported heads ,cam and exhaust is probably a better route

i understand the piecing together parts , not a problem, just wondering if there is a performance enhancement with Whipple vs LT4. I would be happy making 500hp dont need more than that.. is the LT4 SC capable of this? update, LT4 conversion will run $5-6000.

i would like to find out if its possible to activate V4 DoD mode at a certain speed range like highway speed only. I dont want v4 when in stop and go traffic but i do want to drive in 6th gear around town

yeah i'm not messing with Torque OBD app,it's junk . i found a few other bugs in thier software and PIDS non-functional. HPtuners all the way for me! I love that it has a community following too. . i will do a data log on my stock truck and see what i get, just want to establish my baseline numbers before bolt on bigger Manifold and TB.

LT5 is the way to go, you can grow with that TB as you make more power

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTERS, the software is over cycling the TC and overheating the clutch mechagnism, overheating the transmission pump, sending metal debris thruout the system destoying the tranny all while your under warrantee, . soon as warrantee is up the damage is done. and you just buy a new truck or tranny if you purchase the HPT MVPi2 it can fix your trans issues and you can disable the DOD, increase idle speed to 650-700 rpm, adjust your cooling fans for optimum temp control, correct the tcc issues and do many more things like shift point adjustments. cost you $400-700 for the interface with credits to tune pre-2017 truck find a used MVPi1 for $100-200 on ebay is even better deal https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hpt-m02-000-04?rrec=true I left the flapper installed on mine, i just bolted in the wide open position so its not blocking exhaust flow

with HPTuners. need to order an MDI2 or find a cheap used MDI1, if your not computer literate find a local tuner in your hood, if your truck is 2016 and older and just pay for the credits to access your Truck from HPt the 2017 and newer trucks will require you unlock the TCU for $$$$1000-1800 have the tuner copy what Richard Wardell posted under his YT page on tuning out the TCC on a 6l80

shutt down your TCC in1-4th gear and you'll really enjoy the truck even more. makes it feel like it has a higher stall converter and many other benefits

if someone can post up your trucks file in HPTuner format , i would love to look at the TCC schedule on the A8/A10 transmissions. ever since i Disable the TCC on my A6 i have zero shakes,clunks or lugging

i've posted this question about shutter tuning on the HPT forum, yet no one has said anything about it in over a week. I might have to give tech support a ring and see what they have to say. i really like the idea of the shutters for dialing in the ect temp. a 175 t-stat operates at about 165 F on the highway, a bit too cold but i'm not having any issues from this. so who cares then!

correct me if i'm wrong but does the radio on our truck still use a coax cable for input from the antenna? you can always get a cb mount for the rear bed and run new coax to the relocated antenna. the wire wrapped around the ant is apart of the antennas design performance. it's an upgraded design over the older styles. one could try cutting down a cb ant, to 1/2 or 1/4wave, or you can chop down an older junk yard unit

i'm telling you what i saw, on the west coast Los Angeles San Pedro area. I stood there for "20 minutes" 1 hour after sunset. watching a conga line of sats cruising by West to East..at least 1000 units. no way will 60 mini sats traverse the sky for this long of a duration. while flying by at a steady speed of a normal satalite in orbit, they where all perfectly spaced probably 50 mile separation. some one has an interesting project up there if its not SpaceX stuff. on a side note, i had a super bright led focusing flashlight and set it to pulse mode. and managed to train it on a few of them. interesting enough one sat pulled off the conga line stopped and gave a relfective flash back at me, then continued back in the group

sky net is already up and running under Elon's SPaceX , they launched over a 1000 mini sats last year. I rememeber watching them being launched out over the west coast. It was facinating seeing a string of sats in a "train line" across the night sky. it must have be over 2000 miles long . Anyways he's selling it as free or lowcost interenet service for impoverished countries. but they are capable of 24/7 image recording which he can be sold to local state , cities Countries for policing and basic survailance of the people.
