  1. we have a beer brewery , which lures the rats , since they store hops and grains outside. might have to pick up an unwanted tom cats off craigslist, put him to work
  2. i got a mouse or a possum, he keeps chewing open water bottles in the bed of my truck.
  3. is it possible to make a simple vacuum canister and run a separate line to the manifold to get vac capacity, then when the booster needs vac power you got it. might be worth delteing the DOD v4 system and running standard v8 config, for constant vac supply. truth is the v4 mode has no improvement to fuel mpg in the city and 2 mpg gain on the hwy. better off removing these two parts
  4. https://jimmijammer.com/GK description, 200750.html
  5. dont forget to rad clamp the tailgate hinge before some fuker steals it off the truck
  6. you guys figure why we have a pcv ?lol 1.it removes moisture buildup in oil and cleans the oil 2.stops oil from becomming acidic and corroding internals. 3. pulls vacuum on the rings for better oil control and ring seal at idle or low rpm conditions. 4. reburns by-passed hydrocarbons instead of escaping into the enviroment. seems like many benefits, except oil consumption issues
  7. the manifold cover sits on top of the manifold, i think its a heat insulator.. i have a 5.3, but the design should be same. take the cover off! move some shit out the way , get in there will ya
  8. yes engine cover is on top of manifold covers the pcv port in manifold
  9. i have a 2016 truck, yours is on the drivers side manifold ,and runs down to the engine valley area, near the water pump, uses quick release fittings. it looks like a 3/8" pvc tube. you can make your own catch can just search. try pulling the engine cover off , the manifold has a pcv check valve connected to the pcv line.
  10. unless your running a supercharger, theres no point in filtering out the valvecover port to the intake. 80% of the oil consumption is thru the manifold to pcv port
  11. did you put a little tackweld on them so they didnt move?
  12. those pepboys style spring camps need a little tack or spot weld to the leaf spring to make them function correctly, just clamping them on will work for awhile, but the springs are tapered and eventually they will get loose. the small weld will hold it in place, just dont get crazy and weld a fat bead across the leaf, this will kill the metalurgy in the spring
  13. wow! all this for stop and go traffic and paved city streets?
  14. damn right , but the investment BAnkers did not like it because they had no way to bill the customer for power consumption, since its transmitted to everyone no wires, means no meter=no profit
  15. i also use a model called motorgaurd, its used as an air drier for compressed air systems , but they started in the 70's as a bipass oil filter. i get them cheap, probably about $80 vs the pricey Frantz , and toilet paper is so damn efficient at filtering tranny fluid an motor oil. filters are cheap , i use industrial grade 1000 ply hard as a rock TP
  16. whats the part number on the full length rear mat? my dog lives back there so i need as much protection as i can get
  17. you should try a frantz filter= 1/10 micron rating
  18. i use them on most of my heavy duty truck transmission with great success.. when i pull the filter roll after 8000 miles one side is black from super micro fine metal and the otherside is pink and clean. the y are amaizing products. another company is called motorguard... similar style filter
  19. Is it possible to run the OBD2 Torque app on screen via AA for live telemetry view while driving?
  20. full flow isnt neccessary, you just want to clean the oil. but the frantz can be configured to run full flow, its not a problem. just the filtration level is so high on a frantz it possibly can clog easily after 5000 miles of catching debris
  21. if you want the best trans bipass filter on the market, this is it , beats screw on filter every time. check it out. i've used these on past truck and it cleans the trans oil so well it actuallty filters out some of the red dye in the oil... https://www.frantzfilters.com/
  22. here is the real electric future...
  23. the future is electric motors 100% , but it's not gonna be powered by batteries! Try wireless power transmitted thru the air, much like radio signals. US NAVY have a test rig set up in Texas as we speak and they are using it to power cars and aircraft within a few mile radius..
  24. you need to remove the trans thermostat
