Last year i had to get the transfer case control module replaced under warranty after i engaged it in 4wd for the first time. Had it in auto during a snow storm, pushed it back to 2wd, and it just stayed in 4wd. Heard the same whine at highway speeds, same difficulties making turns at low speeds on pavement. Seems to be a common bug with these trucks. Once it was replaced, i never had the issue again and i have been putting it into auto a lot this winter.
Loved my 14 ram and never had an issue with it. Really like the new design and will probably go back to them 2 years from now. The new chevy is too evolutionary and i still want a V8, which isn't the fords specialty. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I like that the 4wd's no longer appear to sit on the ground from the factory anymore. I do NOT like how it looks like an F150 now, and i wish they had kept the square wheel wells- to me that was an iconic GM truck styling feature.
Not sure if anyone has posted one, but what are you guys' thoughts on the canvas "safari" style shells? Most seem to have plastic, roll up windows similar to a Jeep Wrangler. I dig the look but was curious how they are to live with day to day? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Just wanted to vouch for the Magnaflow Pro off-road series catback. I installed this recently on my '16 5.3 and it sounds how it should have sounded stock- not too loud, but no longer can be confused for a Camry. Plus I dig the turn down tip before the rear axle. Highly recommended.
The Toyo RT's ARE heavy. My 285/55/20 RT's on 20" denali takeoffs are EASILY double the weight of my stock 17's on bridgestones. My MPG hasnt crested above 14.6 since i put them on with the leveling kit lol
