  1. Getting my engine cover hydro dipped. Should have it back next week sometime after he does touch ups and clear coats this weekend. So far I think it looks awesome!! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Good to know. I'm doing this soon so this information helps me! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. You could go to your local auto parts store and rent a spring compressor for free (security deposit that gets refunded) that should be able to do the job. Or you can see how much the shop charges to avoid the hassle all together Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. I am going to when I do mine. I've read you have to have the struts off the truck when you replace UCA's so might as well while your that far in Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Here's a pic Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. Your not going to want to continuously adjust the front ride height, from what if I’ve read it’s easy but you have to have the strut off the truck and the spring compressed, etc. I currently just have a puck style leveling kit but will be getting this shortly but that’s besides the point. My point is I have a leveling kit and I haul a 30’ travel trailer and don’t have any issues with it. I have sumo springs helpers that replaced the stock bump stops and then my weight distribution hitch takes care of the rest for the most part. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. So there can be an end to the diff cover debate. If the OEM cover is made anywhere else then here's a good enough reason for me to replace it! [emoji631][emoji631][emoji631] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. Anyone know where the OEM diff cover is made? China, Taiwan, etc. Part # 25951487 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. That's my plan too, get 6 qts of amsoil 75w-90 and then get 2 qts of their auto transmission fluid for the transfer case. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. The new capacity is 3.xx quarts so you need to order 4 to make sure you have enough. No there isnt a front one that I know of. And yes on the amsoil 75w-90. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. G2 40-2091MB Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. I’d be lying if I said looks weren’t part of it haha but I also have a handful of trailers I tow quiet often so having more fluid that’s kept cooler is the biggest reason why I got it. Also just having a drain plug on the rear now is enough for me that way it’s easier to change gear oil when needed. This cover has a magnetic drain plug and magnetic dip stick so there should be less shavings getting cycled through with the oil. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Got my G2 Brute diff cover in the yesterday. Now just waiting on fluids to come in then trying to find a day I have enough time to out it on. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. If you go to their website they have a video of them installing on a 2016+ silverado that you can see for how they installed around the shark fin Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  15. Yea i noticed it was front only which makes Eibach more appealing. I can get the Eibach kit on Jegs.com for like $536 and they wont charge me tax like Autoanything.
  16. Anyone know how much or where to get Bilstein 6112's for our Silverado's / Sierra's? I reached out to Bilstein today and they said that they are out but I am having no luck finding a place to purchase. Kit # 47-273702 is what I found on their website for out application
  17. No worries, you never know unless you ask! I drilled holes and ran bolts through them and the step (5/16" or 3/8" I can't recall). Then I drilled a smaller hole towards the top for the wires to pass through. I went with clear lights for mine. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  18. They are kc hilites cyclones. Just tapped the wires into the cargo lights Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  19. Had this hitch cover laying around that I used to have on an old vehicle so decided to start using it again, what's an additional backup light going to hurt anyways haha. Also finally got a shot of my bumper step lights in action. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  20. No modifications at all. All I had to do was remove the dust caps, release the OEM ballast/bulb component, unplug and then install the new one. Driver side took 2 minutes on my truck. Passenger took longer because I had to remove the air box to get to the back of the headlamp. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  21. I've been running these for over a year and have had good luck with them. They are significantly brighter and a crisper white (upgraded bulb on the right). Depending on when you order you might still be able to get 15% off with "MovinOnUp" promo code. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/d5s-morimoto-xb-hid.html?carDisplay=2017+Chevrolet+Silverado+1500+%28HID+Equipped%29&preselect=&preselect_restrict=1 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks for the write up! I've been irritated with the backup camera not dimming with the gauges for the past 2 years
  23. Yeah they are the LTZ lights. And yes, there is a local tint shop down the street from me and he sprayed them with a high quality tint and then put an automotive grade clear coat over that. No rattle can stuff. I had them mask off the reverse lights (and cargo light on the high mount) so i didn't loose and light output when backing up and because I liked the looks of it that way better personally
  24. I upgraded my tail lights last year and here's the best I can find of before and after. Wish I took a side by side comparison but you can get the idea. I had my new tail lights professionally tinted to a medium tint before install as well. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  25. Which light bar did you go with? I've been trying to find something that will work on my Silverado that has grille shutters
