  1. they way i did it... yes... it can work on ANY vehicle you want.. just bought a set of female pigtails (for a 5202 bulb in my case) and wired them to an ignition fuse in the fuse box under the hood... come on with ignition, stay on all the time (even with high beams) until you turn the truck off did this with my D Durango as well
  2. Did not disconnect battery
  3. I wired my fogs as DRL... - Opt7 Cree V2 LED bulbs (http://www.opt-7.com/cree-v2-series-led-fog-light-replacement-bulbs/) - 5202 female pigtails (https://www.amazon.com/PartsSquare-Connector-Foglights-Pigtail-Harness/dp/B014STAQ0M/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1505801201&sr=1-2&keywords=5202+female+pigtail) - micro2 fuse tap (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XHVVMNH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Installed LED bulbs... plugged in the new 5202 female pigtails to the LED bulbs... ran wiring to fuse box on driver side under hood and used an add a fuse tap to tap into misc ignition fuse... now fogs come on with ignition..... this along with the "spring removal" in the headlight switch makes for a great setup
  4. i dont have any real data to compare (only about 2 tanks through the truck before I put the intake on)... but it seemed like a 1-2 mpg gain on the roads i travel every day
  5. save yourself $230 and do the hose clamp trick...
  6. instructions said, "install this sticker for immediate 10 horsepower" boy am i glad i did... they were right!!!!!
  7. Installed my Airaid Jr intake today... Very minimal sound difference Some throttle response increase (at least I thought) And I think definitely a mpg increase
  8. Yes... you can still run parking light only... after removing the spring... your switch now has 4 positions that you can lock it in OFF (which even from there you can turn on fogs and parking lights) AUTO PARKING LIGHTS ON (can run parking lights only or parking/fog) HEADLIGHTS ON
  9. there are several people from reviews claiming 2+ mpg increase as well from the tube/tube and drop in filter... read nothing but good things about the MIT/Jr Intake kits... will be purchasing mine in the morning!
  10. Do a search on it.. there is a thread in here somewhere on it.. just cant find it now... but you pull the driver side fuse panel lid off (between door and dash) then pop off the headlight, 4x4 bezel... unplug the 3 plugs... then you can take the headlight switch apart and there is a small spring inside that you remove.. the spring is what keeps the dial from staying in the OFF position and springs it back to auto... by removing the spring, you are now able to keep the dial in the OFF position, killing the DRLs
  11. added OPT7 LED fogs... and took out the sping in my headlight switch to allow the DRLs to be turned off and stay off (have HIDs installed) going to wire the fogs so they run as DRL instead... that to come this week!
  12. just curious... .has anyone bought fog light pigtails (5202 pigtails in my case with a 2014 Silverado) and tapped them into an hot fuse with ignition on to use the fog as DRL? then they would be on whenever the truck is on no matter hi or lo beam.... I am currently doing this to mine... i have the 5202 Opt7 LED bulbs in the fogs and will run the wiring this week.... (oh.. and I removed the spring in my headlight switch so i can run without my low beams as DRL, since I have HIDs installed)
