To each his own I guess, this is my 3rd Bakflip, the others rested on the cab without having to apply a single ounce of pressure. A bunch of guys have them at work and theirs all touch, thats what they were designed to do, I think if it doesn't and it just bounces around on the “living hinge” something is going to fail prematurely. If it wasnt a problem I dont think Bakflip would be replacing it before I could even ask for a replacement ?? I’ll update when I get the new one.

Did you have to send your original one back to them? I havent tossed the box yet in case I do. I have to apply more than a small amount of pressure to overcome the gap, when I tried it resulted in stress on the panel closest to the cab, the rubber joint, and the mounting plate attached to the rails and hardware I think this will eventually lead to premature failure at one of those points. If it was designed to function this way Bakflip would have said so, but they are acknowledging the fact that it is not functioning as intended which is why they are warrantying it. I have not been able to find any information on a Bakflip that does not touch the cab when folded from any other truck including Ford/Dodge/Toyota etc. If the next one doesn't solve the problem then I think Ill be going with a different cover.

Yes I tried every which way, Spoke to Bakflip this morning the sent me a video on how to fold to get it to to touch Tried it and it was 2x as bad Sent them a vid of their “fix” and now they want all my info to warranty it.

Damn, guess I shoulda read the manual. I have been cruising the freeway doing 70-75 in my brand new AT4 on my way to and from work.

How does it ride? Did you buy a bumper spacing kit or do a DIY?

Man that looks great! You kept everything the same? 22x10 -18 and 285/55R22? Post pics of how much of the mudflap you have to trim this is still with no leveling kit also right?

Anyone running the Readylift 2” leveling kit? Part number 66-3020

As the title says, Ive looked through a ton of threads, instagram posts, galleries and am eyeballing some 20x10 -19 wheels. I want to wrap them in 35’s or close to it, but want to try to avoid leveling if I can get away with just trimming plastic/liner Anyone running or try running the same size or close to it on the stock suspension? thanks!

What MPH are you folks driving to achieve 20mpg+ on the highway? Im doing 75-80 and avg is around 16-17 2020 Duramax AT4

Great looking truck! Man here in CA the dealer offered me 37,500 for my immaculate 2018 Sierra 1500 with 36k miles, well below low KBB trade in!

Thanks for the input, im pretty set on -18 to -25 offset and wouldnt mind trimming SOME plastic as I did for my 1500, but there doesnt seem go be many people who have put 22’s on without a lift, and depending on the tires some of the aftermarket 20’s just look too dinky on these trucks

Definitely let me know! I am not looking to lift or level, just want wheels/tires and looking at upgrading the shocks to Bilstein 4600 or 5100

That looks great! whats the width/offset and tire size? Any rubbing? What shocks Did you go with?

Hey folks, Just picked up my 2020 AT4 this past week and am looking at wheels/tires, but havent really found the look that I want, I am thinking 22" but not sure yet. If you are running 22's can you please tell me how it affected the ride? Wheel/Tire Specs? Side view pic please? TIA!
