    To the OP, sorry to hijack your thread. Karnut always feels the need to chime in. .Mostly telling old stories that aren't relevant to the topic. As far as DFM, just drive the truck and don't worry about it. The real failure rate is less than .01% of all DFM engines. You only hear about the bad ones. Not many come on here and say they didn't have a failure.

    Remain perplexed. Some of us don't mind spending money on a quality catback setup. I have a Corsa Sport catback with quad tips on my 23 High Country 6.2. Sounds badass , especially the cold start Sounds like a Vette. Zero drone. I've had muffler shop setups in the past. None have sounded this good and they all drone. This ain't 1990.

    I have a 23 HC also. They only work if you have it set to intermittent. Any mark between off and low. As soon as the glass gets wet they come on as needed. I'm a Grandpa too. BTW them salesmen don't know much about these trucks. You'll get all the info you need here.

    I was looking at body kits for my 23 High Country and thinking about removing the rear blocks to just level it off some. Since it has the Automatic Ride Control I dont want to lower it. Body kits are sweet but I have the factory retractable steps so that not going to work. What about a splitter and a tailgate spoiler? Yay or nay?

    My 23 High Country came with the black wheels. They delivered it with transport wheels. I sold the black wheels before they went on the truck and had the dealer put my chrome Fuels on it right out of the gate . There was zero chance I was going to run black wheels on a 78k truck. Ish.
