  3. All you need to do is get the pinion angle right. I would not continue to drive it like that. If it takes you removing the Shims so be it. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  4. I had it tested a few months back but yeah who knows. Got a xs d3100 today and am trying to rig it under the back seat. I hear xs has under the hood heat issues, so thats a no go. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  5. Well I went on a 2-1/2 hour ride with it disconnected and looks like i boiled the battery leaving it disconnected. Heads [emoji121] Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  6. Very good question. I will be getting my alarm and I'll be sure to add it to the list. I will find out what it is capable of controlling. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  7. This was suggested as a fit for my alarm project and I believe its right up your alley as well. https://www.compustar.com/accessories/das-ii/ Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk

  9. Your guess is good as mine. Honestly until now I've yet to hear anyone speak of attempting to make modify the stock alarm. Kinda cool actually. [emoji482] Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  10. Might want to figure in a tilt sensor as well. These days they either use a black box to disable the alarm or and tow it. I have met a few who have had both so im going aftermarket myself. Side note last I used said setup the tilt sensor wired in parallel iirc. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  11. Well I couldn't wait and gave the "unplugging" a shot this morning. Went on a hour long ride. Charge stayed at 15.23-15.27 the entire time. Not sure if thats due to the walmart group48 batt or not, but idk if due to the conditions that I will leave it unplugged. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  12. Ok cool deal. Man I hope this goes well. I've not been able to full tilt for sometime now. Sucks... Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  13. Ok this is what I've been missing. That being said they are not like the old CS series where one wire can be run to the batt+ to monitor and regulate voltage. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  14. Right on! Makes sense. Seems simple enough. Good to know the system will just default to 14v. Im totally fine with that. I always assumed the system monitored/ regulated voltage via the plug on the alternator. Ok well I'm going to give it a shot this weekend. Hope it helps out. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  15. Ah I thought it was just an amp clamp, but now its mentioned that totally makes sense. I was thinking it might set off a check engine light. Idk. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  16. Nice! This is on my to do list after I get 2 batts in there. Likely will get an inverter to power tools here and there so it would help tremendously. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  17. Are you talking about the plug on the back of the alternator? Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  18. I wonder if its easy to swap the pulleys or even possible. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  19. Mine is a 2014 double cab. Yeah he's probably on to something as is maxsuperdog. I've done car audio of and on since the 90s and I've never had a vehicle that couldn't handle a decent bass line. I probably can get 200 watts if that before the truck goes into battery saver mode. Im going to give the unplugging the regulator a shot. Hope that helps. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  20. Hey! Thats cool man[emoji106] so where do I find this plug? Do you still have dimming lights? Thanks! My setup kicker zx750. Audio control lc7i and Rockford Fosgate 700x. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks man! Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  22. Ok if you dont mind checking to see what brand of battery when you get a chance. My factory group48 and stock alternator couldnt handle the slightest bump. I ended up getting low battery alerts. Im gonna swap to a group 31 northstart and likely a second with a smart isolation solenoid that will sense the battery condition and allow charging as needed. It would be really interesting to see how this pans out for you as theres only less then a hand full on the site running 1,000 watts. Let me know how it turns out. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  23. Nice! What battery and alternator are you using? Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  24. Nice thanks! Looking forward to this mod.. Im gonna get the one that changes color and splice it into the blue alarm light on the aftermarket alarm.
  25. How did you mount the strips that is cool man.[emoji106] Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
