  1. Awe man that sucks. So its definitely not coming from the strut mount area? There are a couple threads out where using the factory strut rod bolt stopped the knocking.
  2. Really hope it does the trick for ya bud.
  3. Check your top strut mounts and the bolt for the strut piston in the center. Sounds like what our old strut do when they go bad.
  4. Dude im so glad i didnt buy from them. I told them I only wanted to add the ability to mirror my android and he said $1,489.99 plus tax. Thats a crazy price diffence. Only thing different is the screen size 4in.this was a month and a half ago.
  5. Sounds like leaking manifold gaskets. Do you have an aftermarket exhuast? Might be loose exhuast hangers causing the manifold to shift/ move in turn wreaking the gasket.
  6. Yep im gonna pull mine. Ordering the intake gaskets friday. No catch can here, but if my intake valves are dirty ill put one in.
  7. Looking at this you state you have only changed the screen this far. Id assume you will need the new hmi to provide vusual. Who would of thought you would loose video when only upgrading the screen size.
  8. The ram v4 sounds way better and is very tolerable compared to the Chevy. The"pulse" is quicker. The 5.3 sounds like those guys in a marching band with the big drums behind you. If it sounded like the ram... I bet most wouldn't complain.
  9. Pull the alternator and have it tested at an auto parts store. Could Just be the diodes gone bad. If the they are the alternator still still charge will running but drain the battery in a flash after the engine has been shut off. They cannot test the diodes while its in the suv it has to be on the machine inside. Edited^^^
  10. Right on man! Good to know. Thanks!
  11. Did you have any codes pop up after the cat removal?
  12. Awesome! Post pics [emoji482] don't worry About them being that close
  13. Imagine any scene from dukes of hazard, but when ever they make a jump the front wheels fall off... Your bjs can't n handle missing that stop most likely. Heck if you still have factory ucas you'll need aftermarket ones soon enough.
  14. True looks like the only one is on the strut itself. It'd be nice to have more travel out of these, but not if damaging the strut is possible.
  15. A good review is needed. Thanks for sharing the spring rate that helps allot. One day there will be another strut/shock thread better then bills.
  16. Right on man! 74k with mods done is darn good!
  17. Mine are in direct contact with the strut body. Not the slightest gap when the truck is resting on its own weight.
  18. Nothing but metal to metal if need be on mine. Sorta looks like there should of been a rubber bump stop but the idea was deleted at the factory.
  19. I must say... Very nice bro! Might I ask how the lower bjs are holding up? I been eyeing that brand in particular for lowers in the future.
  20. What was your fix? Thanks
  21. ·Have you done this ·How did it change the ride ·Any bottoming out?
  22. My tires wore perfect before the 5100s. yeah post it up. It be cool to see... So I'm with the crowd who say get an alignment. Even if it ends up not needing it at least the notion possibly saved someone what at least $450 in front tires. Hey I like helping others by not making the same mistakes.
